Better than original
I got this to replace my old clamp for my stand. This clamp is so much sturdier & grips better than the original one. The middle is metal & not plastic like the one I had. It’s easy to install & holds an iPad perfectly.

works very well
I love this product replacement seems very well build grips like a bear to your items heavy spring loaded nice soft rubbers grips on either end it mounts to ball and joint. I got this a while ago cause my original one, one of the springs snapped apart from the plastic end where it was suppose to stay tightly fitted which making my gaming station more difficult to manage staying up and in the holster but with this replacement I couldn't have asked for a better one. Even thou my stand is white and the mount device clamp is black it works out well just the same with my devices such as my nintendo switch and iphone stay firmly in place while I do researching gaming or just talking to other players family members and what not I couldn't have purchase anything better.

Operating this thing is a two-handed operation
This thing will not let go of your phone. It is definitely secure. The springs are so tight you have to pull on one side and push on your phone in the opposite direction to get it out. This is not a complaint. Just letting you know. I think it would be dangerous to try to take your phone out of this thing while driving.

Great replacement part
Bought as a replacement for a tripod that was missing the iPad holder. This fit perfectly. It is very sturdy. It can also be used to hold an Iphone. Too big to hold a GoPro. So happy that I didn't not have to buy a whole new tripod. Great Value.

Works, mostly.
For the most part, this thing is built well, and feels sturdy. The flaw in the design is that the plastic does nothing to “grip” to a metal ball/arm and that leads to it slipping around. To fix this, I added some torn paper into the socket to give a bit more tightness. That worked, for a little while. Then it started slipping again. So yeah, it works…mostly. If this one were to break, I would look elsewhere for a replacement.
