Excellent proof

The key case is generally the right dimensions, so the electrical card transfers over perfectly, & most parts fit correctly - but the battery itself dies not have the 2mm tall plastic rings sat underneath it that are needed to raise it up - so that it makes full contact with the electrical components. This drove me absolutely crackers as I tried to figure it out. I got around this by inserting a folded over piece of cardboard, wrapped with snippets of tape to hold it, and then it worked fine. (I don't know if this is for all XC60s, or just for my old 2009 one, but just FYI!)

For the price wasn't expecting the best but would of liked all the parts it states it comes with a battery but it wasn't there meaning I had to buy separately costing another £5.00

a good way to update an old worn out key. Very easy to fit the old mother board into the new casing. Works fine. Will unlock doors etc. The only reservation is that it is a little tight fit for the v70 ignition slot as it occasionally fails to eject. Although would probsbly be OK in other models. would suggest use as spare.

Not a good product won’t fit in dashboard receiver so it’s scrap.
