Great lock, super easy install
This is my first smart lock. I researched the heck out of smart locks and found this one checked off a majority of the features I was looking for. Amongst a lengthy list, a few items were a must: >Has to be easy to function/wife approved. I have a non-tech savy spouse and she would not approve of anything more involved than traditional operation. I also have a teenager to contend with. Lock has to open from the exterior without having to open your phone to access an app. >I want to be able to physically look at the lock to see it is locked. Some smart locks don't have any physical indicators to tell if it's locked. It's not something that is advertised one way or the other, but you'll miss it off you don't have that. This lock has a red dot on the part that turns the show you its position. Aside from the indicator dot, the lock has a function that, in conjuction with the sensor it comes with and the app, locks the door after it has been closed. I was sick of coming home to find my kid didn't lock the door behind her after school. With auto-lock, all she has to do is close the door. And don't worry about getting locked out, the keypad is out there. >Needs to be compatible with a keypad. This keypad rocks! You can use a password, scan your finger or add NFC keys. The NFC keys are a game changer. You add up to 10, I think, and it takes just a few seconds to register new keys. The lock only comes with one NFC card. So you'll have to purchase a bag. I bought a bag of 20 NFC tags for $10. They were keychain tags and are worth everything penny. Also in the app you can set if they are permanent or temporary. If they are temp keys you can even set how long they are active. All great features! The lock itself is very robust and a breeze to install. You keep the existing keys and half of the hardware. The internal side of the deadbolt is removed and replaced with the lock. It comes with two new threaded screws, screw those in and you're pretty much done. The hardest part are the little screws that screw into the sides of the box. Literally took me longer to do that than the actual install. Forgot to mention you can also lock/unlock it with Alexa with the included hub (though I use Home Assistant). Great product all around. I will highly recommend this to anyone looking for a smartlock!

The best smart lock out there?
One of the best smart locks in the market. Very easy to install and has many options for different style locks. Works locally on a Matter network using the hub, so using the lock is quick, reliable and privacy focused. On AA's the battery life is decent, changing them once a quarter, there is a battery upgrade available from switchbot that is an excellent option. It is a bigger lock from the inside, but from the outside you keep your normal locking cylinder. So it looks like you have a standard lock. Overall great lock, reliable, and at a great price.

Worth it.
Had a bit of a hard time getting the hub to connect properly. Once I rebooted and started from scratch it was fine. Way more quiet than I expected. Works remotely. The logs provided in the app are super helpful. It is a bit bulky but worth it so my landlord doesn’t pop me for tampering with the locks. The matte black finish goes well with my other hardware. A friend had an issue connecting to it through the QR code but that was probably their fault. Worth it for the peace of mind. Battery going strong after 2 weeks of at least 5 uses per day.

Difficult to setup, stopped working after 3 days. Read through!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: The setup instructions for the hub mini are dead wrong. It took me about an hour to get around their software problems and poor instructions. Even after that, it’s probably the most unintuitive application you’ve ever encountered. In order to enable the auto lock and unlock function you have to install a small magnet on the door frame; the door frame MUST be flush with the door, otherwise it will NOT work, trust me, I tried. I actually altered my doorframe and kind of got it to work, but I wish I didn’t. After hours of trial and tribulations I got it to work, more or less where I wanted it (less the auto lock function which was one of the most important things. Then after three days it stopped working and responding to anything. On top of all that, something they omit to say, is in order to give access to guests or temporary access to others, they all have to download the switchbot app and have it configured properly. THAT ALONE is a no go

Solid for apartment living!
I used to live in a townhouse with me my ex and I got accustomed to the smart lock. Plus my apartment building already has a smart lock in the front door to the whole building that I can open from my phone. So I wanted that same keyless entry that I've been used to and to be able to leave without having to worry about my keys. I also am unable to swap out the whole lock since my apartment complex needs access to my door. This was a life saver. It doesn't look like I have a smart lock from the outside and it's just been a life saver. The lock itself is pretty high quality and only took a few minutes to setup. It does use a little hub on the inside for Internet connectivity but can still be used via Bluetooth if you had a power outage. I have been here about 6 months and haven't had an issue with the battery life which is great and the auto lock feature is amazing. Great option for that keyless entry for apartment dwellers!!

Reliable Smart Lock That Makes Keyless Entry Effortless
5/5. 5/5. The SwitchBot Smart Lock Pro has been excellent. Installation was straightforward, the lock feels solid, and keyless entry works smoothly every time. App control is responsive, and unlocking the door feels quick and reliable without fumbling for keys. Things to improve: None so far.

Insomma, per me è super.
