There are a few reviews on here that state that the foam is "too stiff" or "way too dense", here's the thing. Yes, the foam feels quite stiff to the touch and I had my doubt's at first but I went ahead an pressed a holster and it came out with as much definition as any other holster made from a different foam that I've made.The foam feels stiff but under the pressures that it's put under, it still gives and it gives quite well. Oh, and this foam is actually 1 inch as advertised, unlike some other pieces that are only 4/5 of an inch. So 4 stars, only because I don't quite know the life span of this foam because it is still fairly new to me, but so far it's done 5 holsters flawlessly. ### ⭐ A poor substitute for actual kydex pressing foam. *by S*** on Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2019* The sellers description is wrong. This is NOT high temperature foam! After ordering kydex foam from Knifekits.com and using it to make a hybrid holser (kydex on leather) I decided to make a holster for my son that was kydex front and back. I didn't want to spend another 9 days getting it from Knifekits so I ordered this off Amazon. This obviously isn't kydex foam because when you set the 300+ degree kydex on this foam it melts and leaves a permanent imprint of the hot kydex, your pistol or magazine. It would be workable for a few small projects and then you'll have to throw it away. The foam I bought for slightly more from Knifekits should be good for years. The photo shows the sellers foam on the left and actual kydex foam on the right which has been used more but shows no sign of heat damage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... used it enough to know exactly how well i like it.
