Being without her isn’t an option for me. Or her. The Protector She’s in danger. Just the thought of this threatens my sanity. I’ll do anything to keep her safe… Even things that she doesn’t agree with. If she thinks stalking her was bad, Calista’s in for a surprise. The Prisoner Hayden is certifiable. And I love him. What I don’t like are his methods of protection. Except the more perilous my life becomes, the closer I get to him... And the secrets he’s keeping from me. Soon, I don't know who poses the greater risk: the villain out to end me or the one in my bed. Now You're Mine is the final book in the Possessing Her duet. This book contains explicit sexual content and a morally gray hero that's over the top jealous/possessive, a stalker who falls first and harder, has Touch Her & Die energy, and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her. A complete list of the trigger warnings can be found on the author's website. This print edition includes a bonus chapter. Review: Amazing Dark Stalker Romance 🥰 - I really loved this book. It’s a 5 star all around. This is the next book after Once your Mine. It’s the conclusion and it’s amazing 🥰 This is the exact type of romance that I am into know: dark, obsessive, never ending. I read a lot of reviews for book 1 and I am surprised by so many negative comments and how many people DNF’d it. First, the book has trigger warnings at the beginning. So, if you’re not into those things, then don’t read it. Second again: Trigger warnings. Always read them. I don’t like that Ms. Bridges is getting so much hate over this well written series. I, on the other hand am a domestic violence survivor and a rape survivor, and this type of book is a balm to my soul that helps me not only forget, but also heal. I bought this boom half way through book 1. This book was not gifted. I would like to thank Morgan Bridges for gifting us readers with this wonderful book. I hope she continues writing these types of books. Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Tropes: Dark romance, forced proximity, touch her and die, morally grey MC, stalker romance.I’m Review: Satisfying quick read - Good, easy read. Read both in a weekend. Good character development. Has plot and spice. Nice wrap up to the story.

Spice is great, but plot is lacking
I LOVED the first book, Once You’re Mine. I did like this sequel but I definitely felt like the plot was lacking, to the point where it was distracting. I know dark romances aren’t supposed to be necessarily realistic but it kind of threw me off. Calista’s (and even Harper’s) reactions to certain things was just so minimized and unbelievable. Important details and revelations were glazed over, and I think opportunities were missed to better explain or justify things. And how Calista reacts to things and acts, was honestly giving teenager vibes which was throwing me off. Overall, it is still a good read, especially the first 2 thirds of the book. I just felt that the last bit felt kind of rushed. I would say this is a good read for someone who values the smut factor more and doesn’t care so much about a good/believable plot. Of course, I love the spice myself, but a bad plot is distracting for me and can pull me out of it (not saying this plot is bad, just not great). *MINOR SPOILER* Calista wakes up and finds Hayden’s name tattooed on her and her reaction is, no joke, “ugh that’s annoying but whatever.” Like it is literally never talked about. And Calista has next to no reaction when she finds out that Hayden killed her dad. She literally carries on conversation and just tells him that she needs time. I don’t think I even remember her crying. And when she tells Harper about it, Harper’s reaction is literally “omg what are you going to do; classes start in 2 days.” Like what kind of reaction is that?? And some elements of the story were completely unnecessary and just added for drama and ended up being distracting but it didn’t make sense. Like how tf did he manage to tattoo her in her sleep? I know she was on paid meds from her fall but there is no legal pain med that will keep you knocked out through an entire tattoo. Did he drug her?? Oh the irony if he did! Who knows, it’s never talked about. And why did him tampering with her birth control have to be added in? That whole part could have been left out and she could’ve just gotten pregnant normally. All I can think about is she’s inevitable going to find out that he did that and all the drama they went through in this book is just going to repeat itself. And then the whole story is about this mysterious evil person who’s connected to Calista, her father, Hayden, and his mother and it’s this huge build up all leading to the man kidnapping Calista. And then Hayden kills him within like 10 minutes. Like that was the entire climax and it was over in 5 pages!

A Very Satisfying Ending!
The second installment, NOW YOU'RE MINE was every bit as great as the first book, if not better. Hayden is just as obsessed and behaves as irrational as ever where Calista is concerned, and nothing has changed now that the secret of him being her stalker is out in the open. Calista still finds herself drawn to Hayden, in spite of his secrets and lies. She is conflicted throughout this book as she tries to unpack what exactly Hayden means to her. Especially when the REAL truth comes to light! (no spoilers, read the first book!) The struggle and power exchange between this couple is electric. At times, Hayden even made me so angry with his domineering attitude to control every aspect of Calista's life; from what she wore to what she ate. Including, her bedtime! The "push and pull" reaches erotic heights. Book Two is definitely spicier than the first. Hayden! My, my, my... this man may be a sociopath but the way he loved up on Calista... every woman should be so lucky as to be on the receiving end of his bedside manner of "crazy". What impressed me the most about this book was how well Hayden's character was written. Despite the growing feelings he had for Calista and the times he displayed a modicum of vulnerability, Hayden NEVER BROKE CHARACTER. Not once! Hayden remained the same throughout both books. Too many times in stalker novels, the author feels compelled to show the MMC evolving into this bad-guy-turned-good, finding redemption from his irrational behavior. I am so glad that Bridges left Hayden as is; the possessive, control freak that he has been from the start. Hayden and Calista's chemistry from the start of this duet could not be denied and their unique dynamic gave the ending, and Calista's love for him, with all of his flaws and faults, more credibility. Hayden was correct when he stated that he and Calista are 'inevitable'. While you may or may not agree with the decisions or actions of either character, you cannot deny that the consistency of their behaviors throughout their dysfunctional, albeit tumultuous relationship was credible and brilliantly written. On this alone, this book is very deserving of five stars! A very satisfying HEA and a bonus epilogue is available should you choose to get a peek into their future. This is definitely a book duet that you will eat up in literally two days. I need more from this author! Morgan Bridges is definitely one of the new authors to watch for in the upcoming year! I can't wait to read more of her work! Happy reading!

Such an enjoyable Happily ever after!
Honestly so good! I remember reading the first half to this duet wondering how in the world they were going to pull everything together and they did it so unbelievably well! Between the two books the balance of plot and spice was lovely and the ending had me smiling from ear to ear and I’m not usually a big HEA fan but I honestly loved it Hayden so deserved to be wholey loved and Calista deserves to be cherished and protected. However I do wish we would’ve gotten more about what happened to calista and why exactly they chose her to try and send a message to her father.

Good
It came on time perfect quality no bent edges no ripped pages no scratches and no missing pages Overall, I’d recommend it if you like dark romance that leans into intensity and emotional chaos rather than something light or predictable. Definitely not for everyone, but if you’re into the genre, it’s worth the read.

better than the first
This book was not as cheesey as the first. But still cheesey nonetheless. Still, some things didn’t make sense. Spoilers****^^ So Callie is not willing to forgive stalking but she’s willing to forgive him killing her only family left in the world? How does that make sense? I feel like Hayden didn’t suffer enough for lying to her from the very beginning. But I guess the baby complicates the whole relationship too. And let’s talk about THAT! A whole baby. Callie didn’t want to get pregnant. She went for a birth control shot. She made the mistake of telling Hayden. But who would know he’d be so manipulative and selfish to mess with that. He didn’t care that she didn’t want a baby. Only mattered was that he wanted a baby. That’s selfish! Truly, he didn’t deserve her. She could do better. Idc that he has money or all that. Also, Callie is very shallow. Her character gives me the vibe that she’s with him because of his money also. It’s not just because he’s hot or any of that bs. She wanted financial stability. It’s been like that since the first book. Yeah, she might love him and whatever, but a part of the reason she’s sticking with Hayden is for financial stability. She barely fought for her independence (that’s how I see it). There wasn’t much character growth for Callie. The only thing different about Hayden is that he became even more obsessed- if that’s even possible. What they have isn’t love. With all that said, it wasn’t a terrible book. Just something to read. It’s not as cheesey as the first book. For that, I’m glad lol.

Captivating
The suspense is done so well—it builds steadily and keeps you on edge the entire time. There’s a constant sense that something isn’t quite right, and that tension never lets up. Spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Heart Stopping Read
It's been a long time since I've found a book I could not put down, this series was a brilliant read. The suspense, domineering and love of this couple had me on the edge of my seat. I have laughed with Harper, the funny one liners! I'm sad to have finished it but will definitely read more from this author. The only negatives is through being an avid reader of dark romance books I can pick out similaralites to other books and am sure could have been avoided. But loved it anyway. Thanks
