Was a bit wary having read other reviews but this fitted my cocker spaniel really well, was easily adjustable and easy for me to quickly clip on her. I showed it to her and even put in her bed for a couple of days before I got her to wear it and after a couple of times where she shook her head she soon realised it was ok. I’d recommend this.

Great dog muzzle dose the job and looks great

Bought for an anxiety reactive dog and it does a great job. I bought one then had to replace it with a different size, just to give her a little bit more space, despite measuring first. Made very solidly, no real sharp edges and firm plastic design could still be shaped a bit under hot water. My dog has a fairly slim face and it fits with no issue, and has a little padded piece to sit over the bridge of the nose. The clasp is easy to do and has a little locking feature as well. I don't use the extra shield that can fit inside the muzzle to prevent scavenging so can't say much about it. With a little bit of time and training, my dog is also mostly happy to wear it (only a few attempts here and there to rub her face on the grass, but that isn't specific to this muzzle). My dog also learned to drink with it on without too much trouble, and essentially I can reward her with treats through the gaps. As far as cons go - yes, there is a bit of room under the jaw to allow the dog to open their mouth, and mine can comfortably pant, but like almost all muzzles on the market, it's not truly big enough for unrestricted jaw movement and you couldn't leave it on for long periods. A dog cannot yawn in it, for instance. And finally, the soft padded strip for the nose is secured in place at the sides but does move about which can lead to the plastic sitting on the dog's face. I tried to hot glue it, but it didn't hold up well. I expect a better glue will fix that though. It seems solid enough to help with bite prevention, though I have not specifically had cause to test it, and I'm happy with it for the price I paid

Padded area around the nose helps to keep the muzzle on still whilst maintaining comfort for the dog. An effective and perfect fit for the needed requirements. Great value for money as the quality or top notch.

We bought the muzzle to stop our lab eating poop constantly, unfortunately he is very determined and does still manage to get the job done through this muzzle. It fitted well and was well made, but didn’t help with this issue.

Bought this for vets visits. Vet wasn't keen on the cloth ones as a dog can still nip with it on, but we made do & he didn't have his full health check. Was recommended a size 7. Ordered & straps were about 6" too small, although the basket fitted perfectly. Returned and have ordered size 8, 9 & 10. 9 is very close, only a 2" gap. The 10 had loads of excess strap but the basket was nearly up to his eyes. Called the vet for a recommendation, they advised this brand used to have ample straps but recently they have had calls from other clients in the surgery have reported the same issue, particularly with longer hair dogs. If the brand are reading this review do you have any old stock you could send me with longer straps? I'd be delighted to buy!!

Great Muzzle fits perfectly love the fact you can lock the buckle for added security. Would rate this as a good muzzle for everybody. i got the size 7 and fits my Collie perfectly.

My dog is a scavenger, after she ate something on a walk (never found out what) and the next day was vomiting blood a £150 vet bill made the cost of a muzzle a ‘no brainer’. I had been reluctant as I thought it would be uncomfortable for her and that she would spend our time out trying to remove it. She does not like to wear it, but she tolerates it without complaint. The only sign of preference to not have it on is that she moves her head when I go to put it on. She sniffs as usual collecting all of her ‘pee mail’. I can giver her treats through the muzzle (I don’t use the guard). She does rub it against me sometimes when we stop so it might itch a little at times (she is one of four dogs so we stop a lot) but other than that it is no bother. I have ordered a second one for another one of my dogs who scavenges to a lesser extent. In all well recommended.

Acheté pour ma chienne Podenca. Je craignais qu'elle soit beaucoup trop large pour sa truffe très longue et très fine. Mais en fait, c est effectivement très large, mais la chienne apprécie beaucoup. C est le modèle qui lui convient le mieux de toutes les muselière qu'elle a eu. Les deux branches en plastique qui passent sur les joues sont super efficaces . La museliere est bien stable. C est la première qu'elle n'arrive pas a s'enlever. Le fait de ne pas avoir de lanière qui passe entre les deux yeux ne pause finalement pas de problème. La couleur discrète et accordée au poil est moins anxiogène pour les passants.

Mon dobermann avec un très long museau qui n’a jamais porté de muselière la porte très facilement et ça rentre très bien sur son visage!
