Good quality for a whetstone set. It comes with 6 grit levels, a flattening stone, gloves, and leather for finishing. Not the best stabilizer bottom, especially if you are the kind who puts the towel under the working area. The size and weight are pretty standard for a whetstone. It is also nice to have a basic instruction book on how to sharpen blades. Speed is based on how you sharpen blades. I wish the angle guide had a sturdier material and a steeper angle.

What’s the point of having all of these sharpening stones? It’s a very edgy product - only buy if you can handle it.

I first tried the kit on kitchen knives. It seemed somewhat awkward when I tried using the angle attachment. So I took it off and just did it by eye and feel. Afterwards I tried the stones on some garden tools. Overall I think the quality of the kit is worth the cost. The knives and the garden tools were sharper after my initial try. Sharpening is an art and I think with more practice I’ll appreciate this sharpening stone set all the more.
