The hygrometers work very well to track conditions anywhere. They support a temperature range from -10 to 130 Fahrenheit which make them good for indoor and outdoor use. They come with AAA batteries included. There's also a strap included in case you want to suspend it off a hook. The sensors come pre-paired with the hub unit which makes installation super easy. If you want to remove any sensors (i.e. if you want to pair them to a different hub), you can do it in the app and the sensors will join any hub that supports them. The app is very easy to use and the condition graphs are easy to see. Notifications also work very well so you can be alerted if anything goes out of acceptable range (you can set ranges as you want). Very highly recommended!

I just use the thermometer part, but it seems to be working great. Quick and easy install, with an easy to use app. Pretty happy with my other Govee products as well, so it feels safe to use this one. Keeps track of the temp throughout the day, week and month. Connected to wifi immediately, and just works.

Bought this to monitor the temperature and humidity in our parked camper van. The instruction booklet has very small type and I found it a little confusing at first but once I got it set up, it seems work pretty well. It gets four stars because it seems to disconnect from the Gateway sometimes. Overall, it's ok and gives me the data I wanted.

Pros: - Usable in extremely cold temperatures - I had one outside this winter in Interior Alaska where the minimum temperature recorded by the thermometer was negative 33.7 degrees Fahrenheit - and the thermometer worked just fine and is still working 4 months later. Cons: - The only way to share the data/device info with family members/roommates is to use a shared account. - The data syncing needs better internet than I currently have 8 Mbps download and 1-2 Mbps upload really isn't sufficient but that is more something to be aware of based on what internet capabilities you have and not really specific to the product itself. This becomes a bigger issue as you add more and more smart devices to your network. (I have one gateway with 6 temp/RH sensors connected plus 5 smart plugs on my network.)

This is exactly what I needed. Wifi connection so I can monitor while I'm away. Fast connection, quick set up. Price was fair I thought for a big piece of mind. I would highly recommend this.

I was enjoying this device with my three sensors spaced out around my property until today when I tried to set it up on my tablet. Most of my home connectivity apps just require me to login and then I have all of the settings available for my account but this doesn't work that way. I downloaded the app and then there was no login so it asked me to add a device, I added my control center thing that is plugged in my house, but then it wanted me to pair all of the sensors again!!!!! That is ridiculous! So now I am supposed to go out on my property and get all of the sensors, bring them to the house to pair them again, and then put them back out around my property???? That is for the birds, wast of money. Once they are paired they should remain paired and I should have an account that brings them all up on any device! NOT only that, when I went to view them on my original device (my phone) now THEY ARE ALL GONE!!! SO DUMB. I do not have time to read instructions and go through all of the setup all over again. Now they are completely useless.

Apparently I received a defective device because I could not connect it to my network. Then I proceeded to request an exchange for a new second one which I received within a few days. The second device is very effective and working great. I highly recommend this product.

These have been great and an improvement over the last model I had. I have two in my tortoise enclosure and one in my chameleon enclosure and they just work so well. I immediately get a notification on my phone when the temps/humidity drop so I can adjust things remotely and keep my pets happy and healthy. These are the ones to go with if you need to monitor pets in enclosures.
