     This is a nice dish. The top will wobble a bit if you tap or shake it, but the spin is smooth. It arrived a bit unclean, but a good washing should take care of it. The grips on the bottom are effective, and the base will not shift. No assembly is required! And the dish appears to be pretty sturdy.

I wanted something that could display a cake, rotate for decoration, and was not plastic or too expensive. This is the best option I found. It's not going to win any beauty awards on its own, but it's pretty low profile, and looms nice when displaying a cake. It's a bit clinical, it would look nice with a metal lamination around the side, but I also appreciate its simplicity.Some lubrication had leaked when I got it and it was hard to clean off because of the small space in between the base and the top. It also is NOT completely on axis, there is a small variation when it spins, the top was not glued quite properly. The feet are rubber, and I melted mine. I don't know of there is a better option but they are easy to replace.I think this is an item I will use from now on, every time I make a cake. I like how low it is, less a stand, more of a platform.
