I just purchased this (in both the 1" and the 1.2" rise) for my 91-year old brother-in-law's new apartment and they work PERFECTLY! The 1" rise one fits on the inside his entry door and the 1.2" rise is the perfect height for the outside of the entry door. The rubber is nice and firm and should hold up for many, many years. Wheelchairs will have no issues crossing his threshold at all.... nor will my clumsy self who seems to likes to trip over dust! These come with three strips of sticky tape on the bottom of them and that worked perfectly for the Laminate Wood Flooring inside his apartment as well as onto the cement walkway on the outside. (Note: do check the height of them for your door's opening & closing BEFORE you remove the plastic off the tape as they will quickly stick to where you put them, but if you then go and lift it back up to reposition or something, they may not stick as well.) If one of them is a bit tall for your threshold, no problem. Just take a nice sharp razor knife and slice off a bit of the top wherever it is rubbing on the underside of the door when opening or closing. I needed to do this on about a 4" length of one side of the ramp inside the apartment and it took me all of maybe 1 minute, and you don't even see that I sliced that thin piece off. I did see one or two reviews where they mentioned a smell to them but I truthfully I barely smelled anything at all and I am usually very sensitive to strange chemical type smells, and that little bit of smell was gone by the next day out of the box. Also, yes, the 1" riser comes rolled inside a box and therefore did not lay entirely flat at first, but I did as others recommended and immediately took it out of the box, rolled it in the opposite direction and put it back inside the box for a day and it straightened right out. The 1.2" riser comes laid out flat in a box and that laid beautifully flat right away. Too bad they don't ship the 1" ones in the same flat position, but at least it did go back to laying flat by doing that roll in the other direction, returning it to the box in that position and let it sit for a day or two. So, YES, I highly recommend these threshold ramps! The added safety these threshold ramps provide is soooo worth the cost of them which (in my opinion) is very reasonable, they install quick and easily and they look nice and neat once installed.

I got this for easier pushing of a wheelchair over a 0.5" door threshold. It solves that exact problem. I've not yet bothered to use the adhesive; I just dangerously leave it unattached, heh.

I am very satisfied. Its width is suitable for all my wheelchairs, electric scooters, etc., and it is very easy to pass. The natural rubber material is not only durable but also non-slip, especially suitable for frequent use. The ramp can also be adjusted and cut to fit as needed, which is simple and works very well. There is no problem with the steps at my doorstep anymore, and this ramp makes my travel easier.

Worked good for my wheelchair going over the door threshold, I put a couple of 10 pound weights on the rubber for a few days and laid out in the sun to warm up the rubber. I didn't need to adhere it to my floor to use it, yes it does move around a bit, but I didn't want to get sticky stuff on my wood floor, so I just push it up to the door when in use and slide out of in front of the door when I don't need it.

I ordered 2 of the 1.2 inch ramps - each arrived in a straight box, heavy duty, really great. I also ordered 2 of the 1 inch ramps. Each came in a box, curled into a circle. I have had a heck of a time trying to get them to flatten out all the way. It has been a couple of weeks trying a reverse circle, put weights and a piece of wood along the length, and time in the sun. They still lift/curl in the middle and on the ends, kind of a tripping hazard. Bummer. Hopefully Nuvium will rethink the packaging on these!

I wish I'd had this years ago on my patio. I absolutely love the secure feeling of not tripping over the patio door threshold. The cement on the patio is a bit uneven due to wear directly where I step going out so this size fit perfectly enough to completely cover that. I feel so more secure stepping in and out. I'm going to measure the height I can use inside the door and get something that fits that space as well. This is for my footing alone since I have no need to wheel a chair in and out but it would really assist if someone needed that. Very sturdily made of quality materials. Adhesive strips on bottom to secure in place as well.

The threshold ramps work! Lay them down and use them. I am expecting years of use! Worth the money.

I carefully measured the threshold rise which is 1 inch. The problem is that there is something on the bottom of the door that snags on the ramp making it impossible to open and close it with the ramp in place. I didn't want to remove the door to make adjustments to the door bottom. However, I solved that problem by shaving just enough off the ramp to allow the door to open and close. What I used is my electric carving knife. It sliced right through the rubber leaving a clear cut. A lot easier and cleaner than using a knife or jigsaw. Sometimes you just have to think outside the box.

It was perfect for what we needed. Excellent quality. Very durable. I am totally satisfied. I checked out many door threshold pieces but this was the best for what we needed. Thank you

Works great because it’s solid at the very end. I have a 400 pound wheelchair and I am 200 as well so that’s 600 pounds going over it no problem no bending or breaking like the other ramps that have lips on them that always crack and break.

Bought for a neighbours condo door as she is an elderly women and was using cardboard for her walker to get up the bump. Used stickers on the bottom to carpet. Seems to work well.

I ordered 3 risers, they arrived really quickly and are the perfect height. My one issue is the self adhesive tape is already attached to the risers, one in the middle, and one at each end. The problem is if you have to cut them down to fit the door width, you end up cutting the adhesive off too, so when you place the riser down it curls up. I had to nail one end down for all of them. They should provide the adhesive separately so customers can put it on themselves according to the door width. Otherwise a good product.
