These bulbs are a little dimmer than I expected, but that's good. I was afraid they would be too bright. I use them on remote outlets so I can turn them on from my bed when I get out of bed in the dark, and need to walk through the house. I have them in my den where my office is. I have them each mounted in a small cylindrical lamp with no shade. I have them placed so that I cannot see the bulb directly. I like these bulbs a lot. Most lamps I buy, I also buy a Lutron dimmer, but no need with these. They have an E26 base so they will go in any standard lamp socket. Just know, these are dim and won't light up a whole room. Both together, and maybe 2 more might light up a room with a gentle glow.

Perfect brightness. I put it in a little lamp that had three settings. This light bulb only has two but it's very nice. Doesn't have the glare like the one that came in the lamp like it very much

Very nice, warm lighting

TLDR; The perfect little bulb, with just enough brightness for a cozy, warm feel. I was looking for something warm, as I’ve been trying to avoid using white light. This small bulb is perfect for my floor lamp, which originally came with bright white bulbs which were too bright— it was blinding. The color of these bulbs makes my home feel so cozy.

This is a great size for a lamp shade with a 5-inch lamp harp, or even a 4-inch harp. The light is a very warm color, perfect for a decorative light feature. I will order these again.

They provide good amount of light. One thing is if you have them positioned where your eyes are directly looking at them, you’ll need to come up with some kind of shield structure that eliminates the direct line of site because it’s tough on the eyes
