bought this to use with my guns to mount scopes etc correctly to ensure accuracy and no issues later. works lovely and does what i need it to do. took a while to arrive as came from america but it's constantly used now.

I found this digital torque screwdriver very useful for setting up my new precision target rifle. It is important that components are set to the correct torque such as telescopic sights. Good value compared to potentially damaging expensive parts.

So far the quality seems good. Who knows if it was actually calibrated but it does include a calibration sheet and mine was almost dead on. That said, I am a bit annoyed with the in-lb target setting range. Per my video, I can only set the in-lb range from 26-55inlb. However, if I switch over to N-m and adjust to a low value, and then switch to in-lb, it will show that lower in-lb value below 26 (6 in-lb for example). But, if you adjust in in-lb mode from there, it immediately jumps to the 26in lb minimum again. Under normal tracking or peak operation, it does register the lower values just fine. And of course I can calculate the N-m value from in-lb and just use that, but just kind of annoying. Final gripe is that all of the bits lock in except for the bit adapter. That one is just a friction fit for some reason.

I bought this to have an accurate Torque Screwdriver to tighten the 2.5mm hex cap screws on my scope mount. I wanted to set the torque to 10 in-lb. When I first got the unit, I couldn't figure out how to set target setting because when in in-lb mode it would only allow seetings between about 26 and 50-something in-lb although the range is supposed to go much lower than that. if you used the up or down keys, it would get down to about 26 something and then "flip" back to 50-something I stumbled upon a method that worked, It seems that you have to set the target "near" what you want but using the newton meter mode. This was the only mode that would go all the way down to the true low end of the range as specified. THEN you switch to in-lb and you can "fine tune" the target in the low range. This seems awkward and seems like a "bug" in the code. Not sure whether I'll keep this one as this seems flaky. Were it not for this oddity and/or the poor instructions, this unity might rated five stars.
