These make a serious difference if you have multi surfaced floors. I have a hardwood floor and a rug that sits too close to my desk and these help me roll right over it! On top of it they look great, I got the red color and they are just gorgeous. Good quality, and they make almost no noise when rolling either!

I am giving this item a three star review as I honestly am not impressed with the lack of free movement on my carpet that isn't shaggy (and it could whatever cushioningis UNDER the carpet that's making this an issue). They glide effortlessly on the hardwood flooring, but my PC and gaming chair are on carpeted flooring (again could be because of the cushioning underneath the carpet that's causing the issue). I love the bearings and the smoothness of these wheels, the only deal breaker for me was it would make my chair 2cm too high so even as a 5 foot 11 men, it would strain my knees or ankles depending on the time spent on the chair.
