For a protein bar, it tastes pretty good. The bar itself is pretty big and hefty. While it is a little chewy, its not as chewy as some other reviews make it out to be. Its not anything like chewing rubber like one reviewer said. The only improvement suggestion I have is it's definitely on the sweet side, and I think they could probably reduce the sweetness a little bit. For 45 grams of protein in one bar, this is a great product and easy way to get some protein on the go.

Tastes good, just like you would expect a 45 g protein bar to taste. Very dense, very filling. If your stomach can handle all the sugar alcohols this is an excellent choice. If your stomach is sensitive, lift light that day. Even better if you catch an Amazon deal, or subscribe and save price.

This is really good 4 star item. The macros are wild if you’re looking for a solid protein base. I bought a couple boxes for snacks on the road. I ate 1-2 bars a day and they did the job. They kept me full and I didn’t lose any lean mass while traveling for two weeks. They also left enough calories to indulge a bit on local food. The downside is that the bar is really dense, almost toffee-like. It coats your mouth and feels dry going down. Honestly they are hard to eat without a cup of coffee at hand. Overall, they taste pretty good if you counteract the dryness. If texture and portability are really important to you, you might want to keep looking.

Good bar but, just so damn hard to eat. The texture is of rubber. Tastes almost like nothing with a chemical aftertaste. Super expensive but it’s a lot of protein. Almost gaged twice after trying to get through half of my first bar. They also have a lot of weight to them. It’s so gross I had to write a review just to give others a heads up. (This is my first ever review)

Chewy but pleasant. With that high amount of protein its not gonna taste like a snickers bar. Great for an on the run lunch. Ive lost 20lbs in 4 months and this is one of my 'staples'

High protein, but, be prepared for lots of chewing! Its tough! Also, while it contains no wheat (or gluten) it does have traces. I cut it into sections, and only eat one at various times. Makes it easier to chew and I have no reactions. Its an okay source of protein, but for the cost, there are other products available that are gluten-free and easier to consume.

Thiese bars takes like a tootsie roll/brinie combo, so good, and I fill up on half so I eat half and use the other half for mid afternoon snack, staves off hunger and gives you a good amount of protein

The protein content is incredible, this bar has one of the highest protein per dollar/calorie that I’ve seen. That being said, it’s sort of incorrect to call this a protein bar. This is almost a meal replacement bar at 310 calories. If you eat this with a banana, this can become a small meal. Moving on to the texture and taste of the bar, either one is not great. It tastes like I’m eating solidified slightly flavored whey protein. The texture is abysmal, it is incredibly hard and is akin to eating a brick of whey protein. The bar is extremely hard to bite into and chew, but I’ve noticed no digestive issues with it. It is very filling and satiating and does a good job at keeping hunger at bay. Overall, I would buy it again, it’s great if you don’t need a super sweet protein bar that tastes like candy. Get it if you need the most protein you can possibly get out of a snack. Although I would purchase it again for protein, I cannot rate more than 3 stars due to the taste.
