Does this work well for boys? Does it keep the pee from splashing out?

Splash guard is not high enough for my little boy. :( after many messes I decided to get a different one.

How well does the splash guard work for boys?

The splash guard doesn’t work well for my 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter. Very unhappy and have tried working on different pee positions. Nothings works.
