I went with the XL for peace of mind since I knew it would fit and it’s plenty of space for for our needs. We can easily fit two full sized suitcases and one carryon size with plenty of room around them to stuff other miscellaneous items. Installation was a breeze and took me less than 10 minutes. The vehicle with the box still fits in the garage and can be opened and loaded there as well. The lock and latching mechanism make opening and closing the box a breeze - it feels much smoother than the old Yakima Skybox I had before and overall this feels much higher quality.
