Review: Inspiring and sensitive story about love and the afterlife - I loved this so much - what a well-written and sensitive, truly inspiring book! I am in awe of Lyn for her strength and purpose in turning such a challenge into a beautiful book for others to enjoy and learn from. I read this book in the space of 24 hours because I just couldn't put it down! I laughed with Lyn and Chip, shed a tear for them and felt the excitement as Lyn from page to page found new and astonishing signs from Chip and discovered more and more about her new life communicating with her dead fiancé on the other side. Truly inspiring and beautiful! Review: Worth Reading. - Having lost my husband quite recently I was drawn to reading this book in the hope it would help lead me to cope with my loss a little better.. The devastating circumstances under which Lyn lost her partner was heart wrenching and I did identify with many of the emotions she experienced. I have however never experienced the wonderful communications she was able to make with her deceased partner, and do envy her that as he found a way of assuring her of his eternal love and that he was always with her, helping her to cope with her dreadful loss.

Interesting read
Let me start by saying that I am a believer in the after life. I believe loved ones who have passed over can and do contact us and make their presence known. That said I found the authors story a little hard to swallow. From the offset she makes it known that she has always wanted to write a book, The murder of her partner was horrific and I cannot imagine how she must have felt. However to suddenly become psychic as a result of her loss leaves me sceptical, not of the after life, I have no doubt of that .

You just have to wake up and listen
Lyn Raglan writes from the heart in this anguishing yet uplifting story of the true horror she faces when she lost her fiancé but also the light and hope that is restored when her beloved returns to her. Unable to put this down. I read it very soon after losing my father and although I have always believed this book drew me into Luna life but also strengthened that hope and the knowing that my beloved dad would always be with me xxx

A lovely heartfelt book.
I disagree with the review about this book being painful and hard to read,I couldn't put it down.Yes of course Lyn suffered pain through losing her man too soon, but the book is so full of proof of the afterlife and how love is the key to everything. I'm sure this book will give hope and joy to many people who have lost a loved one, because we do not lose them, they have just gone away for a short time to another place,a beautiful place with no pain or suffering and when its our time to go they will be there waiting for us.

Very boring
When I downloaded this book and her other one 'We need to talk' I was looking forward to a very interesting read, especially since I have read hundreds of this kind of story, but no sooner was I into the first few paragraphs I realised this seemed to me to be the imaginings of a grief stricken woman who wanted to believe she was hearing her fiancé and constantly dreaming of him with messages for her. I got confused when she kept referring to her 'Kids' then realised she was talking about her dogs, pathetic I thought. I did decide to read the whole book despite skipping a few pages as it was just so repetitive. I do believe in life after death and that there is something but she seemed to turn every little confidence into some spectacular visitation and how many of her friends came to tell her of dreams they had......please!! Suffice to say I read the first few pages of the next book then discarded it.......utter rubbish and so boring

I really did enjoy reading this book and could relate a lot of it to myself. I am sure that I am receiving signs from my loved one but I am really envious of Lyn's visitations, she seemed to have so many! I would definitely recommend it.

I am beyond impressed with this book. This true story offers several explanations for "occurrences" that to some may seem unbelievable and for others are a confirmation that there is "life after death", that the spirit or soul of the deceased can still connect with you in different ways. Acceptance, HOPE, believing, and understanding still leave the reader with many experiences and possibilities to pay attention to in their lives. If grief, death and loss are a part of your life experience and you do not know who to talk to or share your "unusual" experiences with, this book will help you understand "After Life Communication" in an easy to read and understand format. I felt as if the author was talking to me. There were some places where I smiled and others where I felt sad. This is a book I didn't want to put down.

Loved it. Such a heart felt story and so, so intense at times. Lyn Ragan writes from the heart and you can feel her pain as she works through the loss of her beloved man. Brilliant writing...thank you Lyn.

Not only is Wake Me Up: Love and the Afterlife by Lyn Ragan written about a subject I find fascinating it's also a pleasure and an honor to have found a similar book to my own novels. Both are meant to enlighten. Both are centered around a tragic death and a powerful love story. Both tell the tale of life after death. But there is one big difference: Lyn's book is a true story and mine is fiction. The story opens with Lyn and her fiancé, Chip Oney, chatting on the phone while he is on his way to work. It's sweet and intimate. And at times I felt like an intruder listening in! The scene was very relatable as I do this with my husband while he is making his morning commute. Everything is going great, Lyn and Chip are chatting, making plans, but then something horrific and life altering occurs. I literally gasped and stopped reading for a moment; I allowed the feeling of loss to wrap around and strangle me. This could happen to my love. But I only hung out in that devastating place a moment or two. I shook it off and kept reading, willingly I went on the journey Lyn was taking me on. After Chip passes on from our world to the next Lyn mourns the loss of him and of their relationship. But Chip refuses to let go. He frequently visits Lyn and their friends and loved ones in their dreams. The dreams feel real. Even more real than her waking reality. Soon enough Lyn see's the signs of Chip presence in her waking world as well as in her dreams. He isn't dead. His soul lives on. Little clues were left behind for her to find. While she put the pieces together of missing keys, catching photo's of orbs, pictures on her windshield, and his nightly visits in her dreams, she soon weaved together proof of his continued existence and the puzzle of his absence was complete. Lyn sought answers to his death, solace in her day to day life, and peace within her heart. Wake Me Up: Love in the afterlife is more than a just a typical love story, it makes you think, it makes you wonder, it gives you hope. Thanks Lyn for sharing your beautiful story! I just got done reading this one and am half way through her other book We Have To Talk. I bought these books because I have been visited by four spirits from the other side and had to get some kind of understanding concerning these visitations. I am a born again Christian. So everything she wrote had to be lined up to the word of God, the Bible. When I got done with Wake Me Up I still didn't have answers to what had happened with me from those visiting spirits from the other side. Her second book We Need to Talk is where I was able to figure out what had happened with me concerning those four spirits who came to me in my dreams and even sat on my bed and talked to me and even floated above me talking to me. What I believe is that according to the word of God the Bible we are not supposed to be bothered by spirits from the other side. I believe that the devil comes to deceive us by appearing as an angel of light...a loving spirit that we loved and cared for visits us in many different ways. I firmly believe it is not them at all but the devil and his demons coming to lead astray anyone who is able to be led astray. Even though I would love to believe that these four spirits love and miss me so much that they came to share their deep love for me it is not so. I asked Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus to lead me into all truth concerning this matter and I believe that He has. I was so confused by these visitations that I believe that I was led to by Lyn Ragan's three books that did help me to figure out what had happened to me. It was We Need to Talk that answered my search for the truth. She had a sexual encounter with her loved one and I know as a fact that this is not of God or Jesus or Holy Spirit. I went to her FaceBook page and these visitation from the other side spirits are happening to thousands of people. I have now lost interest in even reading the rest of her second book We Need To Talk. We have to be so careful of what spirit we are being led of. Especially in these last of the last days. I know this much is that we all have a free will and we all have to decide what we believe and don't believe. I believe in Jesus, Father God and Holy Spirit. We are supposed to rely on Him to lead us into all truth. After all, our life when we cross over depends on what we believe in. It a very serious matter of truth or deceit. Lyn Ragan is an excellent writer and just a beautiful spirit and soul. I just don't believe in communicating with spirits from the other side.
