Which will give an idea of the heater,'s appearance - mount it high on the wall and it could easily pass for a television. It certainly looks very good with its sleek glossy black finish. But I didn't buy it for its looks - I was more persuaded by the efficiency claimed, the 7p running cost. I'd expect the actual running cost would be dependent on circumstances - if, for example, it was used in a hallway with frequent traffic through an external door letting cold air in, then obviously it'd consume more power in having to restore room temp to whatever it had been set to maintain. Not ideal. But I bought this heater for my bedroom, which I'm confined to 24/7 through disability, and the door remains closed except when visitors call occasionally. I felt this would be an ideal environment for the Wärme heater as it has the fine-tuned thermostatic control to maintain an accurate temp without excess, together with the option to set different temperatures for different time periods, and also sufficient power to restore room temp quickly if a door or window is opened that cools the room. To date I've not been able to test it - the weather has just been too warm! This will replace an oil filled electric radiator I've used for a few years, which lacks the precise temp control, so room temp fluctuates quite a bit and stays the same 24/7 unless manually adjusted (which is hit and miss) and if I open a window occasionally to let in some fresh air it can take ages to restore the ambient temp. The Wärme offers considerably better control, more efficiency and performance than my oil rad gave me. So I'm looking forward to my Wärme heater serving me far better - and reducing my bill for electricity! Once I start using it, come the autumn, I'll update this and give an idea of actual performance and running costs - but I have great expectations! 5 stars rated! Review: Very pleased overall with my purchase. - It arrived well packaged and fixing the two feet only took a few minutes. Very sturdy and well made, and once I decide where best to place it, I may well mount it to a wall. It certainly looks stylish and fits in nicely in a modern home. Performance-wise it has exceeded my expectations and heats up a room faster than I'd imagined it would. It's silent too, which is great as I was worried there might be some sort of electrical buzzing. No complaints there at all. A lot of reviews mention the complicated settings, and whilst they certainly could be more straight forward, once you get the hang of them they're fine. One thing that could be improved though, is the eco-mode. You set the temperature, it heats the room till it reaches that temperature, and then switches itself off - which is exactly what you'd expect. But then as the temperature starts to drop, it doesn't switch on again till it's 5 degrees lower than the set temperature. So the room gets pretty chilly again before it starts to heat. Not a deal breaker but it would be nice to be able to change that 5 degree temperature variance. It is an expensive item (even at sale price), but it's well made, looks great, and performs very well. I have no regrets about purchasing it!

1st Call Customer Service - Outstanding Heater, Great Vaule For Money!
LATEST UPDATE - The customer service for the seller is excellent! While disappointed that the 2nd heater that I ordered for a family member came with faults (1st heater ordered is working perfectly), I have to say that they acted quickly, from the moment that I filed a complaint it took 29 MINUTES TO GET AN EMAIL RESPONSE WITH A SINCERE APOLOGY AND ASKING ME WHEN WOULD IT BE SUITABLE TO HAVE THE HEATER COLLECTED FROM MY DOOR. So to be clear I already have a heater and it works wonderfully without any issues and I would still highly recommend this product. The 2nd heater that I ordered had faults, but the customer service response has been 1st class and for this very reason I WILL BUY FROM THIS SELLER AGAIN IN THE FUTURE, THEY CAN BE TRUSTED TO DO IT RIGHT. Ordered another heater for a family member which came with a discounted price due to being a showroom model. However very disappointed that the product would be sent in its current state. Have requested a full refund on the 2nd heater and will see how the seller responds to this request. The following words of that of the family with respect to the complaints with the product - Missing bolt bottom right corner the front was very loose other than that I’m testing it and seems ok it used 17p in the first hour so not the 7p an hour it stated also room was already 20 degrees before test began and hasn’t risen much since 1pm I’ve set it to 35 degrees still only on 23 degrees?? This is heater is hot, not just with it's stylish looks, but also it produces a lot of heat. Like most people we are busy with too many things right now to experiment with the settings so we have to just set it to full heat to see how it warms up our conservatory which is permanently cold. The cold has been replaced with a sauna like heat which is too hot, but we just wanted to try it out on the max and this heater has passed with flying colours. We are using the heater in the free standing position against a wall in the centre of a 240 sq ft room which has ice cold floor tiles. This room has had several different heaters over the years which are only good if you are sitting right next to them or wrapping your legs around them, but none of them have never been able to heat up the conservatory and today it has been rather cold in Birmingham with bad icy conditions, so this has been a good way to see if this heater can deliver, which it does! Now the instructions are very limited and it did appear that a small component was missing as the instructions mentioned the LOCK (part of wall mounted bracket) in the plural, so before switched on we sent an email to the seller to notify them that a part was missing. The seller responded to the email in less than 24 hours to confirm that the only LOCK is for the left side. So we are delighted with this product and I can only imagine that if it is wall mounted as displayed in the product photos then it may be even more efficient at warming up the room. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT, especially as the price comes with a huge discount!

Transformed my home from an icebox to a warm, comfy place to live.
Last October I moved into a new home with no gas supply so consequently no gas central heating. As the winter grew colder I tried a number of electric heating systems from convector heaters and oil filled radiators all with different levels of success. Being on a pay as you go electric meter I noticed that all the heaters I was using were incredibly expensive to run so I searched amazon for the most cost effective heater I could find. Due to its high customer feedback I came across this heater and attracted by the 7p per hour boast I purchased one. It arrived promptly the next day, firstly I really liked the styling of the heater it looked really good in my living room. Turning the heater on I very very happy by the area of space it filled with heat. I was so impressed I bought a second heater to heat my upstairs too, my house is quite small but I find these two heaters alone heat my whole house efficiently and quickly. The control panel takes a little getting used to but there is clear video tutorials on YouTube and on the companies website explaining the heaters functions like how to set the 7 day timer or how to adjust the top temperature . These two heaters were the only heating appliances I needed the whole winter. As a further note I have also received prompt and very professional customer service regarding an issue I had with the packaging of my second heater. All in all this heating product transformed my home from an icebox to a comfy place to live.

The worst controls ever
I am surprised this gets such good reviews as the method of using the controls is insane. It is like it has been designed by someone who has never used a radiator. For example, it is impossible to set up the timer and then easily use the radiator without having to press multiple buttons. My current radiator can be used using the timer settings just by pressing the timer button, and if you want it on for an hour or two you just press the power button. On this one you have to press and hold the unlock key to deactivate the child lock (pointless as I don't have any children). Then you press PROG, then you press the up and down button several times, then OK, then PROG, then up and down again and then it might be OK again, I honestly can't remember. All of that just to turn the radiator on. And when you want to turn it off you have to go through the same multiple keystrokes to get it back onto the timer. It is insane. It is a shame as the radiator itself is nice looking, and the timer function (once mastered) is flexible, but then not being able to override the timer without pressing a dozen buttons in different combinations, just means I end up using it only on the timer. In conclusion, nice looking, but silly controls that are overly complicated even for the simplest thing (like turning it on).

A reasonable heater but overly complicated and a crazy high default temp. I wouldn't buy again.
I've had this heater for 2 months now. We have it in the babies room to keep a constant temperature overnight. Overall it works well, but I wouldn't buy it again. There are 3 things I don't like about the heater... 1. This is the big one... It doesn't remember temperature settings when disconnected from the mains. The heater remembers my programmes, but it doesn't remember temperatures and the default "comfort" temperature is 32C! We had a powercut in the night and when the heater came back on it had changed the comfort temperature to 32C from 21C! First we knew was when the baby woke and the room was like a sauna! Not only is this dangerous for your wallet, I think it's dangerous for a baby who can't regulate their own temperature! 2. The settings are overly complicated. Every time I want to change the programme I need to get out the instructions. Once you've read them it makes sense, but the next time you come to do it the whole process needs to be learned again. It's far from intuitive. 3. In comfort mode it keeps the temperate within 3 degrees of what you've set. A bit either way, so kicks in when the temp is just under 2 degrees from the set temp. In economy mode that's + or minus 3 degrees. so if you've set 21 it will come back on at 18. In my opinion that's a bit too low and makes the setting pretty much pointless. It is a decent heater.. the 2KW model we have is a bit too big for the room it's in, so the room heats up quickly, but always gets a bit hotter than the set temp. There are nice features like the open window sensor which stop it working if there's a window open and a rapid decrease in temperature. I also like the frost setting, but I'd like to be able to change the frost temperature too. We also have an oil heater which was a third of the price and more basic, but it's more reliable and cheaper to run. I have a monitor on both. In 4 hours the Oil heater used 2KW and this heater closer to 4KW. I wouldn't buy this again. I'd send it back if I still had the box, but we decided we'd keep it before we knew about the temperature memory issue.

The best heater we have ever bought!!!
This is the best heater we have ever used for our large glass roof conservatory. We have tried oil heaters, fan heaters and lost count of others we have bought and tried (none of them were good enough and cost an absolute fortune to run). After reading the reviews for this very modern looking heater, we considered buying 2 of them just to ensure we could make our conservatory more welcoming in the winter months. Bought only one just to see how good it was, and we are amazed at the speed it heats up our favourite room in the house. We don't need another one of this as it is so good and checked our smart meter display when it was set at 23 degrees and it was still low electric useage. We are considering buying one for our open landing upstairs as I now know we can reduce the temp. or on our gas boiler and have this heater on set at our chosen temperature. Okay, the only negative? the control panel is so confusing. I watched the video and read the leaflet which didn't explain anymore than I had already worked out. How to set the temp for every day/hour (I cannot work out so have given up) and I am known for refusing to being beaten by anything. I know if you keep the OK button pressed, the 'child lock unlocks'. I just basically set it for instant heat when I want it on. My daughter uses this room as her study room so she is in absolute heaven with this heater. From a very impressed customer who is telling all her friends who have conservatories/cold rooms

Great piece of kit, looks like a top end TV!!
Very pleased with this purchase. Arrived really quickly and was a doddle to fix to the wall. I put mine up in the bathroom and the benefit of the 7 day timer with programmable settings for every 30 minutes is where this unit really scores points. I can now set this up to heat the bathroom for when i get up early for work, without having to set the central heating on to warm the whole house!! It gets super toasty really quickly, The economy setting is a great addition too. The product is really well designed and the better half thought I'd installed a TV in the bathroom (my life is not that rock and roll!!!). This is a brilliant item for the money, cant fault it and will save me many £'s in the long run - 2 year warranty too so no issues there. You wont regret this - very glad i bought it.
