Now it's 2022 and yes, they are ceramic valves with 1/4 turn open/close. Same look, modern functions. **Q: Are these second hand of what?** A: Not sure I understand the question. Are these second hand - no they are brand new and were easy to fit. One criticism of the taps are that the centre ceramic hot/cold on the top of the taps often come unglued.
