Sewing Machine Light LED Flexible Gooseneck Work Lamp with Magnetic Mount Base for Workbench Lathe Drill Press

Love my light! It is the perfect lighting for my sewing machine!! Flexible and easy to handle. Great lighting even in a dark room.

What's to like? Well, based on my limited experience with this light installed on a bandsaw: The magnet seems to hold in place in a vertical position on a slick steel surface. The light strip light is wide enough (4.5 inches) to eliminate shadows on either side of the saw blade, and bright enough to nicely light the work area, so it is a big improvement over the single point LED light I had tried. The flexible neck is long enough (11 inches) to be very useful and it holds its position well. The toggle type on / off switch is easy to find and use, even if it is out of sight behind the blade cover. Seems nicely made and finished. A longer power cord would have been helpful in my application, but a lightweight extension cord was a quick fix for that. Including some adhesive backed cord clips would be a good marketing move also, hint hint. I'm impressed with this light!

this is great for sewing. It has a sitcky tape on it along with another magnet like thing and it sticks to any surface. I stuck it on my sewing machine and it is just the right amount of light needed for sewing projects. I love the small design of it because it can literally stick on any clean surface. installing it couldnt have been easier.. its so flexible it goes in any direction that you need and it doesnt move until you move it.. HIghly recommend

This magnetic lamp base shows the goose-neck sticking out from the side. This is not a table lamp. The magnet on the base allows you to stick it to any magnetic surface (Not all metal is magnetic), and then adjust the neck to suit your directional preference on the lamp. It's not meant to support it's own weight, sitting on a table. If you use it as intended, adhered to a surface that will hold a magnet, it works as intended. That said, most modern sewing machines don't have metal casings anymore, so it probably wouldn't work well for that, but I have a metal clip that I attached to my computer desk, and stuck it to that. The magnet is plenty strong to hold it to the metal, and I can aim it in any direction. So far, it stays where I put it. The light is not super bright, & it's not going to throw a lot of light during the day, so if you're doing super fine work, and need a lot of light, this probably isn't the one. If you're wanting a bit more light for a small area, then this is very nice for directional lighting. (My laptop sits inside a roll top desk, and very little light hits it in there. This illuminates the keyboard nicely, when I'm looking for that seldom used key, and can't quite see it.) My first one seemed way too dim, and I was about to return it, when I gave Customer service a try first. Surprisingly, they were immediately on the job, and sent me a new one, which is brighter. No hassles, no pictures, no mail it back. Just Bam - try this one, just a few days later. Very happy with a pleasant Customer service experience. A rare thing indeed.

Impressed!!!!! I bought this for my industrial sewing machine to brighten up the entire sewing area under the arm. The size of the light and the brightness is very illuminating Happy sewist! 😁😁

I don't use area lighting preferring to only apply the light where it is needed. This light is attached to an unheated fin of the radiator next to my bed to provide light when I am not reading on a digital device. It is bright enough that it lights up the entire room. The magnet isn't very strong and will not support the weight of the lamp stretched out horizontally. I found it best to point the shaft up vertically and bend it at the top to get the light where I want it. It might work better using the included double stick tape but since I am in a rental that is a NO NO. ⭐⭐⭐ is my base review for a product that is fully functional and fulfills its promises

Perfect light for my sewing machine. The magnet is very good and I can position the light where I need it.

I love this light. It comes in handy for lots of things and the magnet is really strong. I used it for reloading press but would be great anywhere you need s light in a tight spot abs can sick it to metal. Magnet is far stronger than lights weight.
