Really and truly gets the job done
I really love this item. I have purchased a couple of them. Two years ago, black ice threw me into a rock wall, and dislocated my shoulder.Pretty much tore it up, and damaged nerves as well. I was badly injured, andin a lot of pain. All made worse by a genetic condition that affects my joints.I was referred to an excellen physical therapy practice. And the wonderful fellow who worked with me was pleased to see I had this item.Said this brace was really good, and then proceeded to properly adjust it.This brace did a lot to stabilize my shoulder and really help to relieve pain.I wore it for sometime. When I was better, I put the brace aside. But much later, when I again developed more need to use the brace more, due to my genetic issue, I could not find the brace.I knew what to do: IMMEDIATELY get on Amazon and order another one.So happy to have this brace, it really gets the job done and helps try shoulder to again be stabilizedand much less painful. And to again get better.I plan to make sure to always keep one of these braces on hand.

FINALLY - RESTFUL SLEEP
I had a full thickness tear of my supraspinatus tendon (later confirmed with MRI) that required surgery to repair. In the 3 months leading up to the surgery I had terrible time sleeping as the aching pain would wake me at night and over the counter pain relievers were no help. I bought this after reading that another customer had shoulder pain and trouble sleeping. Once it arrived and I tried it on I’ll admit I was skeptical but the first night I wore it I had seven hours of uninterrupted sleep which was fantastic for me! I still had soreness but the brace kept just enough pressure on my shoulder to keep it from aching. I wore it steadily at night until I had surgery. I wish I could report that I experienced increased shoulder mobility while wearing the brace but it was still painful to lift my arm in any direction. For me the top benefit for purchasing this brace was the ability to sleep through the night! If you are having difficulty sleeping due to rotator cuff injury I would highly recommend you give this shoulder brace a try. I also recommend you get an accurate diagnosis because a shoulder brace will not repair a tendon that requires surgery.

Not perfect, but reliable
(Husband writing) - I am very active and did not want a shoulder injury to limit my activity. I ordered three braces and will be returning the one I liked the most, the Anaconda. The Anaconda fits perfectly around my shoulder and hugs around the bicep. It felt amazing right out of the box and did not “bulk-up” during my work out. Unfortunately, by the third use the velcro began to feel loose, and by the 5th use it snapped open -this is a disappointing deal-breaker as I do not want to feel like it will unsnapped during an activity. I also ordered the Inflossom Shoulder Brace, which also hugs the shoulder and bicep, but it is soft and low profile, and perfect to wear under clothes to work or for sleeping. I chose to not use it for workouts or activities. I also ordered the Flightech Shoulder Brace and was going to stop using it once I got the Anaconda. Unlike the Anaconda or the Inflossom, the Flightech has a shorter sleeve with a velcro strap. It also feels a little bulkier. However, the velcro is super strong and twice the size of the Anaconda velcro tag (the smaller one in the photo). I prefer to have a little bulkiness and a shorter sleeve, but feel comfortable during my work out.

Quality looking product just not for me, tight fitting to get results
I'm probably going to return it. The product itself seems to be made with quality materials and very well put together. But for me, I have to really tighten it to get a feeling of support and the tightness of the strapping is not comfortable.I did measure myself so it is not that the size is wrong, I just don't think this type of supportive device is for me.Sports tape seems to work better for me, the type that is self stick and stretches.

Best suggestion EV
Great product, it's helped me with my shoulder issues from day one. I will say it is important to get a proper fit for maximum support. I'm not a small man, 6' 4" and just over 300 lbs., so my doctor said get the largest I could find then go from there.

Unfulfilled promises and a bad design
Im a small female. 5'3", 112lbs, and work out 4 times a week.According to the measurement guild I ordered a S/M, but to be on the safe side I also ordered the XS.Let me start by saying how hopeful I was to get some support and relief for my aching shoulder. But as big the expectations so was the disappointment. No surprise the S/M ended up being way to big on my shoulder (the strap size could have worked if I had a men's size shoulder). The overall size of the XS was fine, BUT:1. The position of the biceps buckle on my right hand, placed it smack in my armpit, digging and rubbing into it.2. The over the chest band is awkward for a person with boobs, even small ones. Either above and then cutting into the other side armpit, or on top/under which squished it.3. The most importand drawback: there's ZERO support for the shoulder. No matter what angle, or how tight I tried, it did nothing more then cut the circulation to my arm.Back to the drawing board I go

Quality Brace
This is a nicely constructed shoulder brace. I recently found out I have a torn rotator cuff and have been dealing with quite a bit of pain and discomfort. This brace seems too hold and support things in place pretty well and comfortably and is helping with the pain. Movements that would cause a lot of pain are much less painful now. The Velcro is high quality and unlike other brands, there is no buckle digging into your armpit. I'm starting PT next week so hopefully things start heading in the right direction. I also had a question so I emailed the seller and they responded within a couple of hours with excellent customer service.UPDATE6 days later and my shoulder pain is significantly less! I went to my first PT appointment today saying 'it was a lot worse last week'.

Spend the extra money on something that works
This is the second product review I've ever posted in my lifetime. I felt it necessary to describe my experience with this product as it was a frustrating one. I ended up buying two sizes, S/M and L/XL. I bought the L/XL first as the sizing chart recommended. I have a 42" chest and 15" bicep which landed me at L/XL. I will also mention that the reason I was seeking a shoulder brace is due to my shoulder pain. It pops in and out and causes some serious strain on the nearby muscles in my upper back and neck and that comes with some serious nagging pain. I also started to go back to the gym after a few years hiatus and I needed a brace that would allow full range of motion while providing support. When the product arrived, I immediately opened it and tried it on. There was nothing wrong with the look or quality of the product itself, but the fit is where it gets frustrating. The L/XL fit great around my bicep but the strap was too long to get any type of true support, but I figured I'll wear it to the gym and give it a shot on my cardio / light day. By then end of the 1/2 hour the plastic buckle for the bicep strap was pinching the back of my arm and poking my lateral back muscle. I couldn't wait to get it off. I figured maybe it was because it didn't feel as snug as it should and maybe the sizing chart was off for my specific body type / build. So, I ordered the S/M and that turned out to be waaaay too small for my bicep but the chest strap fit snug. Needless to say, I returned both sizes.I ended up going to a local medical supply store where they sold clinically tested braces and the shoulder brace I purchased there was 100% fabric and multi-layered including a thermal layer that retains some body heat to help keep the muscles warm and an outer wicking layer that touches the skin. The difference in fit was night and day compared to this product. Aside from the brace being all fabric, the bicep strap is located is lower on the arm that helps keep the arm "up" as the chest strap provides the support. Granted the brace I ended up buying was ~$50 more and doesn't look nearly as cool, but I'm in this for the function not the fashion. There are two things I would change about this product. 1) sew the bicep strap to the brace and ditch the plastic buckle and extend that part of the brace so it straps lower on the bicep OR change the angle of the bicep buckle/strap as it gathers to one side of the buckle making adjustments difficult and doesn't lay on the fabric beneath. 2) Make a size that is M/L. I'm a totally average dude in terms of height and weight and that is a glaring gap in the sizing of this product. If you're in the market for a shoulder brace that actually works and you are or are near my size, spend the extra cash for something that is clinically tested to fit and function the way it should.

Helped a lot.
Had a shoulder dislocation a week ago and this brace was essential in aiding with the recovery. Especially in the first couple of days after the injury. It keeps the shoulder comfortable and in place and can comfortably worn underneath a shirt. Fightech was also great in providing shoulder tape and a workout band free of charge with the purchase of the brace. They also supplied a few exercise videos to do targeted shoulder exercises with. I highly recommend.

I am very happy with the brace and the results
Brace is easy to adjust and put on; provides good support; integral pocket for an ice pack in a good location on brace. Would be helpful if original ad stated size of ice pack pocket. Prompt shipping.
