Seller made it right
I ordered these and they seemed to have molded in transit. There was no sign of life and when I went to do a scratch test it oozed out. I immediately took them out of the soil. I in no way think that was the sellers fault its just poor handling in transit. But regardless the seller sent me a replacement package and I planted them instantly! Green leaves and signs of life. So much better! Didn't take a picture of the first ones because I kind of grossed out and tossed them immediately but they were just black balls of mush. So greatful the seller made it right. This is my second year trying a heat wave took out the first wave. Now I've planted them perfect timing and I'm so excited! Will update with more growth.

Good support
I had a problem with my first order. I contacted support and we walked through it together. Unfortunately, those roots were not viable. With no hassel they replaced my order and this batch are strong and growing well. Things happen, but what's important is that this seller was willing to work with me and make it right.

Overall excellent, appreciate the seller's quality and shipping time
These are about 10 days old, all are looking healthy and happy! Extra plants were included, and they are all showing growth! They're in a mixed soil with sand added (straw-berries = prefer a less rich, humid dirt than, say, tomatoes). Minnesota weather has been hot, chilly, rainy, cool during this time; strawberry varieties don't seem to mind a bit of a chill. Also, researching these since I haven't grown them before, I planted ever-bearing red strawberries with them to encourage pollination. The roots weren't massive but adequate, and possibly more ideal than a large root ball for transplanting, my opinion (some say it's beneficial to trim large root balls down - more air or elbow room for the roots?). "Newbies tend to transplant better than mid-season mature plants" but I am no expert, do your research! I'm delighted with these, from shipping to growth.

Disappointed
Of 10, only one survived. We have a berry farm...strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, elderberries, blackberries, and mulberries. We thought it would be fun to have a few pine berries on hand, only one of 10 and it barely produces

generous numbers of healthy, nicely protected, bareroot pineberries with easy to follow instructions
These bareroot plants came untangled, in padding. When I checked the instructions, it said to plant as soon as possible, but that they could tolerate being stored in the refrigerator up to a week. I ordered the 10 pack, honestly expecting to get half that in viable root stock. After soaking them to ensure they were hydrated, and preparing my growing area for these, I ended up planting 18 individual plants. When I checked this morning those plants looked none the worse for wear. Several had leaves on arrival, or at the least green shoots, so it was easy to determine the crown of the plant. They are not super large clumps, but certainly bigger then the store bought Ozark bareroots I tried last year. Considering these are a more exotic type of alpine strawberry, if I have even half take, I'll be more then thrilled. Its too early to tell how they will do given my noobish blunders with plants, but I certainly can't blame the plant or the seller for that issue. I do suggest this grower for their generous size and numbers they place in their packs. I got almost twice as many as I expected. Great value.

1 made it. 1 plant turned into 30 plants.
Only 1 plant made it. The one plant has turned into 30 plants. Hopefully fruit will be produced this 2026 season bought in 2025.

Donโt be scared you just need to soak them!
Intimidating but very easy, will arrive as rooting, I found all to be in a healthy and strong condition on opening although they appeared slightly dry. These 10 small clipping rapidly began growth after soaking in nutrient water for 24 hours with visible tops and leaf nodes. (Tupperware and cheap aerator pump)

Good Plants - But a sad story
I am 100% happy with this supplier and the Bare roots that they sent me. The came alive and green very healthy Sadly mines did not make it but It was partly my fault. When they was delivered I didn't know it until later so they sat for a bit longer than they would have but even with that they looked really good. 2nd soon after I got them planted we got hit with a bad heat wave I tired to keep them alive and they looked like they wanted to live but it was to much for them. I wish I would have planted in something that I could have moved out of the heat. Any ways I for sure will buy from them again cant afford to the year but will try again next year. :)
