I just received these knives tonight. They are lovely and were packaged well. Haven't used them yet but they seem super sharp and great. I Love the scissors as well. Well-made, sturdy and very sharp. A nice change from the wood block knife set I have had for too many years. It went directly into the trash tonight after setting up the new ones. Nice mint green color. The round shape of the knife holder is different an interesting.

I believed these were a good deal. But they're just cheap. The first time my wife was using the clever on some beef. She hit a bone and the blade bent and chipped. The others cannot hold an edge.

The knives are cute at first but after 3 uses in less than a month thr wood look peels off leaving a black spot. I think it's like peel and stick pepper or something. The knifes do work ok but the peeling off is absolutely beyond me . I would not recommend of your planing on using it maybe just for decor
