Another fine Sony product
Great sound, easy to set up. Bought on sale. saved over $100. Worth it for the sale price, when it's over $200 you might consider a similar product from other companies. Sound bubble this creates is an engineering marvel. I am a long-time Sony fan, I have never been disappointed in the quality of their products. I view Sony like apple; a little expensive but generally they work well and last a long time. Excellent battery time and easy to charge. Comfortable fit. Good for home use, but not for airplane travel but I have a pair of Sony noise cancelling headphones. Bluetooth range is excellent. I use for music, enjoy these far better than my air buds. I know they are good when my daughter want to "borrow" them (translated, "Can I have them?").

WOW! JUST WOW!
I have no idea why no one is reviewing these. These things are amazing! At least I think so, the sound quality is on par with any other high end Sony sound product. And these are awesome if you live in a household like mine. I live in a small house, with a 13yr old Grandson who sits at his computer with headphones all the time, and a wife who really isn't into big theater sound when watching movies, and most of the time I want to watch a movie when she doesn't. So, until I got these speakers, I had to resort to using headphones of some sort or another. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, I couldn't hear my wife when using my headphones, and nine times out of ten as soon as I started watching a movie, she would want to talk to me. But with these speakers I can have it all!! I can have my big theater sound without bothering anyone else in my house, AND I can have a conversation with my wife at the same time! Another awesome thing about these speakers is that I can wear them at work. My company does not allow us to wear headphones or earbuds while working for safety reasons, but it's perfectly ok for me to listen to a Bluetooth speaker. This Bluetooth speaker sits on my shoulders!! Yes, they are way pricey, but they are built with Sony quality, sound awesome, and for me, worth their weight in gold for so many reasons! Now these things will not be suited for traveling using public transit, you're going to annoy others sitting right next to you because they can hear things that you're listening to, it's just at a lower volume than what you're actually hearing. But that's why you use headphones or earbuds. These are not for travel; these are for big personal theater quality sound without the need of wearing headphones or earbuds. There is what I would consider a very small problem with them. If you move around a lot while wearing them, such as cleaning house, etc. They have a tendency to shift around on your neck, but if you're sitting still watching a movie, they feel very comfortable. I would like to see Sony come out with some sort of clip to hold them together at the front, or maybe a stronger band in the back that will hug your neck a little more.

Great Sound, Works Just as I Hoped
This thing is great! It’s a more spacial (I said “spacial,” not “special”) sound experience than headphones/earbuds. Unlike headphones/earbuds, I can still somewhat hear the world around me, and my ears don’t get hot or irritated after wearing it for a long stretch. It sounds like I’m in a theater! Yet the person I live with can barely hear anything just 10 feet away. I also like that it connects to my TV and phone at the same time, and when I briefly listen to audio on my phone while watching TV, it automatically pauses the thing I’m watching on my TV (obviously this wouldn’t work with some external TV sources, such as cable boxes). You may have to install the Sony app for that feature to work (as I did). I’m not sure. A couple of design improvements I would like to see though: (1) it would be nice if it were adjustable for larger necks (like mine). I have a 20 inch neck, so the speakers don’t come forward as far as they would if my neck were smaller. This means that the sound comes a bit more from the side as opposed to the front, and that it wants to slip off of me more easily when I stand up. (2) The virtual surround sound feature should not be limited to *Sony* TV connections. That’s ridiculous. I paid Sony for this product, and its capabilities should be fully accessible to me. It still sounds fantastic though, so I don’t feel like I’m missing anything while I’m using it.

Remarkable Sound Quality
OK, this is somewhat of a disclaimer, but I am a Sony fan, particularly their BRAVIA line. So I wanted to really like this - and I absolutely love it. I’m fortunate to have a premium Sony sound system in my house. And I wanted to have a nice speaker for travel, which I do very frequently for work. I of course use both headsets and earbuds for connecting to my iPad, but there are times when I don’t want to be as removed from what’s going on around me, like in a hotel room. I have used a really nice speaker in hotels, but in order to get a really nice sound quality I have to turn it up pretty loud - and I seriously don’t want to bother people in neighboring rooms. And, when laying on the bed, for example, that speaker doesn’t work really well - where do you put it? Many times there are knocks on the door or the phone rings and headphones are too removed. This is a fantastic compromise. It allows you to be fully immersed in the sound, while not removing you from what’s happening. The sound quality, as I put in the title of this review, is truly remarkable. I have no idea how they did it, of course, but the sound is almost very nearly what headsets allow. I’m very impressed. The battery lasts a very long time - I do recharge it after use, so I’m not sure how long it lasts, but I do know it’s several hours. NOTE: As described in Sony’s information, this IS NOT for use everywhere. It is NOT for use on a plane, it is NOT for use in the gym. Or anywhere that others would hear. (I have not tried it paired with another BRAVIA U.). But it gives the wearer fully immersive sound and does not remove you from surroundings. If this compromise between a speaker and headsets fits your needs, you cannot go wrong with this speaker. I more than highly recommend.

These have really nice sound and you can sense the separation of music output. Comfortable to wear and the battery lasts a long time. I haven't downloaded the app that allows you to do different settings, so far I'm content with the way they are. If I had to pick one small negative, when I'm leaning back in my computer chair (kinda slouched down) they have a tendancy to wanna slide off of you and fall backwards. But other than that they are nice wearable speakers. I do find the price a little high at three hundred plus tax CAD, but if you want good quality then you'll need to reach a little deeper into your pocket for that luxury. UPDATE... After trying them for three weeks I have decided to return them. The sound is still great but they have one annoying fault. If you're like me and you like to sit back, perhaps a little slouched in your computer chair, they will fall off your shoulders and onto the floor behind you. They need to come up with a way to prevent that from happening before you can be sure they'll stay on you. So I am returning them and until they fix that problem, I don't recommend them.

Good sounds and battery. Sometimes the odd drop out, but have not established the cause.

It's a very good product and you can feel the difference while listening to songs when connected to a phone. However, the sound output is very low when connected to my Bravia XR TV. I mean even at level 60 it feels like 10. Later found out that for my BRAVIA XR TV late 2022 model it needs a wireless transmitter WLA-NS7 for the 360 Spatial audio / 3D surround sound effect to work which could cost anywhere b/w 5k to 9k more. I've ordered the transmitter which is yet to be delivered. I'll provide my review again after using it with the transmitter. It works as intended with newer gen Bravia TVs like the 2024-25 models which doesn't require the transmitter. Wireless transmitter is now delivered. I’m writing this part of review after few weeks now. Works excellent when connected via wireless transmitter wla-ns7 to 2022 model Bravia XR TV. Sound is louder and crisp as slew as immersive. Impressive product. Purchased the wireless transmitter from a different e-comm website as unavailable in Amazon.

Amazing sound comes out of this thing how they make bass come out of this thing is awesome and I’d say it’s pretty durable the apps easy to use to set eqs up and stuff but the app could definitely use work and these could definitely use an update that fixes some minor gripes that happened after a recent update but at points it will cut out not sure why but didn’t do this before the update from them an Apple lol other then that decent sound decent size and decent battery life and very good volume and al good value for the money
