I love this controller! Hall effect analogue sticks add an extra level of precision, all of the buttons, D-pad and back buttons all feel premium quality. To note that if you are using more than one USB extension cable linked together to connect the controller to your Xbox, the pad may not connect. This may be due to power usage of the controller, though it works fine normally, both with the included USB-C cable, and also worked fine with a longer cheaper USB-C I bought separately. It also seems to work fine through the Brook Wingman adapters if you want to use with other consoles, I’ve got it connected through a Brook Wingman XE2 to a PS3 and it works flawlessly (including back buttons), a huge upgrade where I can really appreciate the difference in precision when playing ‘Dead Space 2’ for example. The icing on the cake is that you get a free month of Game Pass included in the box, so it’s an added incentive to buy new rather than second hand.

Hall effect analogue sticks, a symmetrical set up(not the stupid wonky style of normal xbox controllers which gives me tendonitus in my left arm). Excatly what I wanted and works perfectly. Why they haven't made a wireless version of this controller I don't know because its great and way better than the original xbox controllers. Worth every penny in my opinion.

I actually bought this and didn't realise that it wasn't hard wired. I tend to avoid usb connections as over time they get loose and lose connectivity. That said, the connection on this controller is in a recess. A clever bit of design that helps keep the cable from causing wear and tear on the connection. It's actually baffling you don't get this design on official controllers.

I love this pad so far only been using it a day. Having issues finding the smaller buttons in the dark but got to get used to the lay out yet.

I've always owned a PS and PS5 is my main console but last year I bought my first ever Xbox to play some exclusives but I could never get used to the controller and my hands actually feel uncomfortable and hurt when playing for abit and after using the original controller a few times annoyingly it got bad stick drift so decided to look for a controller with PS layout as replacement and surprisingly there’s not many but after discovering this controller it’s perfect it is wired and the wire it comes with is fairly long, it feels great when playing, it’s pretty cheap and most importantly it’s comfortable when playing.

Flicking down on the left analog stick don't work, I'm really not impressed, I only rated 1 star due to the delivery driver was so polite

J'utilise la 8Bitdo Pro 2 Wired Controller for Xbox depuis quelques jours, et je dois dire que c'est une excellente alternative aux manettes officielles. Design et Prise en Main : La première chose qui m’a frappé, c’est le design. La manette a un look rétro qui rappelle les anciennes consoles, mais avec une ergonomie moderne. Elle tient vraiment bien en main, avec des grips texturés qui la rendent confortable même après plusieurs heures de jeu. Elle est filaire, ce qui élimine les problèmes de batterie ou de latence, mais cela peut être un inconvénient si vous êtes habitué aux manettes sans fil. Cependant, le câble de 3 mètres est suffisamment long pour ne pas se sentir "attaché" à la console. Personnalisation et Fonctionnalités : Là où cette manette brille vraiment, c’est dans la personnalisation. Grâce au logiciel 8Bitdo Ultimate Software, j’ai pu configurer chaque bouton selon mes préférences. On peut ajuster la sensibilité des sticks analogiques, des gâchettes, et même les vibrations. C’est idéal si vous jouez à différents types de jeux et que vous voulez une configuration spécifique pour chaque genre (FPS, jeux de combat, etc.). En plus, elle dispose de deux boutons arrière supplémentaires (des "paddles"), qui sont aussi reconfigurables. Cela m’a vraiment aidé dans certains jeux où j’avais besoin de réagir rapidement sans enlever les pouces des sticks. Performance et Compatibilité : En termes de performance, c’est un sans-faute. Les sticks sont précis, et le D-pad est particulièrement agréable, surtout pour les jeux rétro ou de combat qui demandent beaucoup de précision. La manette fonctionne parfaitement sur Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One et PC. Je l’ai branchée et elle a été immédiatement reconnue, sans avoir besoin de réglages supplémentaires. Inconvénients : Le seul vrai inconvénient que je trouve à cette manette, c'est qu'elle est uniquement filaire. Personnellement, ça ne me dérange pas, car je privilégie la performance et je n’ai jamais à me soucier de la batterie. Mais si vous êtes habitué aux manettes sans fil, cela pourrait vous frustrer un peu. Cela dit, pour une manette filaire, le câble est assez long pour ne pas gêner. Rapport Qualité/Prix : Pour le prix, c’est une très bonne affaire. Elle est moins chère que les manettes officielles de Microsoft, tout en offrant beaucoup plus de possibilités de personnalisation. Si vous cherchez une manette performante et flexible, je la recommande sans hésiter. Conclusion : En résumé, la 8Bitdo Pro 2 Wired Controller for Xbox est une excellente manette, que ce soit pour les joueurs occasionnels ou plus exigeants. Si vous cherchez une manette filaire avec un niveau de personnalisation incroyable, c’est un excellent choix. Le design est top, la prise en main est confortable, et les performances sont au rendez-vous. Je lui donne sans hésitation un 5 étoiles !
