Great features, quality and value
I had the opportunity to experiment with a few different PARD night vision scopes owned by a friend before I purchased the Nightstalker 4K. Across the board, I was impressed by the quality construction. I am very pleased with my purchase of the Nightstalker 4K. To start, the sight picture and eye relief are excellent allowing for quick target acquisition. The focusing controls are well placed and easy to operate while on scope. The image through the scope is crystal clear and crisp. While this is an incredibly sophisticated piece of technology, it is simple and intuitive to use. The menu is simple and elegant. If I had one request it would be better tactile feel of the ancillary control buttons (wifi, pip, range finder). It would be nice to know I was in the right spot with a "no look" finger press. Over time, I will memorize the location of each, so this is a very minor issue especially when you consider all the features, quality and price. If you are in the market for a night vision scope, I would definitely recommend the PARD Nightstalker 4K.

Old model. I suggest buying the new model.
OK LR scope. I suggest buying the new model. Having said that, I decided to buy the older model due to a hefty discount offered to clear out the old stock and am planning to mostly use the scope for daytime target shooting with a 300 Blackout subsonic, where I wanted the appropriate hold over/under calculated for me. I have tested it up to 100 yards and feel that is close to the usable limit of the scope because the screen is grainy. I could probably shoot further at a large target where I didn't need to see detail and could shoot toward the center of the blob. I appreciate at a 40 to 50 yard distance, having the laser range finder and ballistic calculator mark the hold-under point for me, which is about 4" lower than the 100 yard zero. With the mark, I can hit the target bullseye. Hopefully the new model makes it easier to trigger the LRF and Ballistic calculator. With this model, I have to take my eye off the target and look up to find the correct button to push. That is a critical problem for actual hunting situations. I have often heard a deer walking through the woods in advance and so sometimes have the opportunity to get ready for a shot, but that may not always work. (Note that I don't plan to deer hunt with 300 Blackout.) The scope does take a lot of power, so having a spare battery or plugging it into a portable battery charger in a stand situation will be a likely thing. It would also be nice to be able to more easily zoom up and down without having to reach up to the top of the scope. I frequently back up on the zoom to find the target but then want to zoom in for more accuracy. Zoom and LRF control would be ideal mounted forward on the rifle where you can keep your eye on the target.

Scope wouldn't hold zero
My first impression was the night stalker 4k was build well. However after mounting on AR15 and going out zeroing, I found it would not hold zero. Not even close! Maybe I got a faulty one but consulted with someone with many years experience and his assumption was the same. Defective product
