I also really loved Alex so much !! 💗, Rune’s best friend and the only one who knows her secret. He’s brave, loyal and the kind hearted friend🫶🏼. I honestly found it hard to put this book down. The pacing was just right, with the plot flowing smoothly and each chapter pulling me in deeper. The dynamic between Rune, Gideon and Alex along with all the dangers , tragic backstories and secrets, kept me completely hooked.📖 And the ending...why?🥺

This is my first hardcover order. I'm not exactly a bookcollector but I love to buy them. The book's condition is so good. The only thing is I need-a little bit of design on the board yk? Cuz while reading we'll remove the cover so..it kind of looks plain. But still the print is top notch and it's a pie ✨ Definitely I loved it!

After my last two ARCs, which were disappointing, I was hesitant to pick up another one, so I decided to read from my physical TBR instead. I'm so glad I did! It's been a long time since I screamed, squealed, and swooned over a book. My emotions were all over the place, and the slow burn was so torturous—I loved it. I didn't realize who Cressida was actually in disguise as until the end. Moody readers, please pick this up; you won't regret it. I can't wait for the next book. It's perfect for fans of Serpent and Dove, but it's even better. From the book: "Every time Gideon looked at the young heiress, she reminded him of the sea: steal-your-breath beautiful on the surface, with the promise of untold depths beneath." Enemies to Lovers❤️

It was worth the hype and I couldn’t put it down. True enemies to lovers and Rune Winters is one amazing heroine. Recommended.

The plot and writing are mediocre, and I couldn't connect with the main characters. You can predict the plot twists miles away; it's such an overhyped book.

The book is heavily inspired by the Scarlet Pimpernel, which is an all time favourite of mine but the protagonists in this book were just stupid and hard to root for. We’re expected to believe that these people are smart somehow but they constantly make dumb decisions like lovesick teenagers. It just wasn’t believable. The whole book was irritating to read.

While it was not one of my favourite 2024 witch books [yet to be found one], it was a good read, a delightful book, will surely read the sequel as it hinted to be replenished with better moves and more magic, won't mind some thirst as well (ahem ahem🤭), excited to see how things will end up between the main characters.
