Great product
Used to anchor down a plastic, rubber maid-like shed. Exactly what I expected and needed.

Heavy duty!
I haven't used this ground anchor yet but I did look at it and read the instructions that came with it. We get a lot of wind in the winter and I have a very tall sculpture that I made that sits in the yard. I usually take it down and lie it on it's side in the winter because i am so afraid it is going to fall over and damage something. My plan is to attach the ground anchors to it so that I can leave it in year-round. I think this will work as it looks very strong. I will have to update this review once I use it and see if it really works as well as I think it's going to.

Zero stars!
Low quality pretending to be construction quality. Upper part of driving rod was flattened by time got first anchor hammered into the ground. Apparently the same thing happened underground with top of the anchor sleeve (flattened out from being pounded by the driving rod) so that the rod was thoroughly stuck and would not budge to slip back up and off the anchor when came time to remove it. Wasted a lot of time trying to retrieve the rod, all to no avail, despite using leverage in attempts to dislodge it. So, rest of anchors are throw away since I would need a new driving rod now to even use them. Tried to find a solution to have the rod replaced vis-a-vis Amazon and just got ran around in circles there as well since return window had expired. Poor product, poor customer service and waste of both money and time!

Shed Anchor
5 star. Will buy again on other projects that require to be anchored down.

Not perfect but does work for hard rocky soil
I am trying to anchor a swingset, and I tried those screw in ground anchors and the soil in my yard is so hard and rocky it was impossible to get them to go in more than like 4 inches before they would hit a rock and be impossible to turn. These can be hammered in, then pry up the driver bar, and pull up on the cable and the wings bite in pretty well. I was able to get these to go a good 2 foot down. The driver bar takes some effort to yank back out, and I had to clean up the threads with a tap to assemble the thing in the first place, but they do in fact work, which is more than i can say for others i have bought.

Good Quality Anchor but with a Potential Design Flaw
Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but after I hammer the anchor into the ground, I can’t pull the driver out because it catches on the cable loop. Moving it around doesn’t seem to help. I might go back to the auger style anchors next time.

Lighter than expected
These ground anchors are lighter than expected. The quality seems to be well otherwise, but it would be better if they would feel more heavy duty. They would work well for a tent or similar structure, but I would not trust them this a shed as advertised. They are not very expensive so if you need to keep down some light duty structure like a tent then this set will work just fine and I would recommend it, but do not buy it to keep down something like a shed.
