I purchased this for my mother when she had her both knee joint replacement surgery. Prolonged sitting in bed with extended legs needed a good back support and this frido wedge pillow gave her the necessary support to sleep while sitting in bed instead of staying in supine( sleeping flat on bed) position the whole day. Also it helped her with Reflux gastritis issue with good head end elevation and cushioning at night. I used it on wide sofa for watching TV and had a good back rest. I tried to use it for leg elevation. But it was not comfortable. Ot would have been more convenient if the height of wedge pillow was lesser to avoid hamstring stretch and patellar rub with knee flexion. More the height more the flexion of the knee is what I observed.
