Book is good and got in perfect condition without any scratches or damage you should buy

Good paper and print quality.. must read. A very affordable sprayed edge edition with the trust of penguin publications.

This review isn't really about the content as I haven't read the book yet but I've deducted one star because the cover was dirty. I managed to wipe it clean but delivery should be a bit more secure. I like the cover design tho, good for the price paid.

Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have such mixed feelings about this book. Wuthering Heights is undeniably atmospheric, haunting, and beautifully written but as a reading experience, it was much harder for me to connect with than I expected. The atmosphere is probably my favourite part of the novel. The wild Yorkshire moors, the isolated houses, the gloomy weather and the overall sense of darkness create such a distinctive setting. Everything feels cold, restless and almost claustrophobic, and Emily Brontë does an incredible job of making the landscape feel like a character in itself. But the characters were where I struggled the most. Heathcliff is fascinating to read about, but I found very little to actually like about him. His obsession with Catherine is intense, but it is also incredibly destructive and cruel. Catherine, too, is complicated, selfish and frustrating in ways that made it difficult for me to emotionally invest in their relationship. Their connection is certainly memorable, but I wouldn't describe it as a romance I rooted for. I also found the narrative structure and pacing quite challenging. Having the story filtered through different narrators- especially Nelly made some parts feel distant from the characters and occasionally confusing. There were moments when I felt more interested in understanding what was happening than actually feeling it. That said, I can absolutely understand why this book has remained such an iconic classic. The themes of obsession, revenge, social class, grief, generational trauma and destructive love are fascinating, and the novel is much darker than the idea of a traditional romance might suggest. For me, it was one of those books where I admired the writing and the atmosphere more than I enjoyed the actual story. I’m glad I finally read it, but I don't think it's a book I'll be rushing to reread. 3⭐ beautifully haunting, deeply flawed, and definitely a classic worth experiencing at least once. 🖤
