I purchased this when my second Jura Milk Container attempted flight. I wanted to purchase the Jira version but their prices for the glass container is pretty astronomical. Since I already had two of the original lids, I figured that I just needed the glass. So I got this YHMYOALU version and the glass is pretty good; its lids pretty good but i prefer the Jura version. To my chagrin, the container is like 0.5 to 1mm to wide for the original lids. So close! Looking at the YHMYOALU lid, there is a rubber seal that can come off for cleaning. So I took the rubber seal and placed it around the Jura's version; and it worked! Even the metal "straw" fits just right too! I highly recommend this version to replace your brittle Jura version or just as a milk container.

Do not buy under any circumstances. 2 major incurable problems make this product utterly useless. 1. Lid does not fit tightly on the glass piece, so milk spoils and jar is unstable. 2. Hole is far too large into which you insert the tube connecting the container to the JURA, so air gets into the tube instead of milk. Again, the result of these problems makes this container useless. Unfortunately, I had to return this item after trying to use it the first time.

I am happy with this glass milk jug. My KitchenAid KF8's original milk jug was a plastic one. I always grab the milk from my refrigerator and then heat it in the microwave. The plastic one cracked and leaked after 2 months of cooling and heating cycles. So I had to replace it with a glass one. This container looks nice and is perfectly fine to use in the microwave. The KF8's hose can be directly inserted into the cap hole if you remove the original connector on the hose.

Our Jura milk carafe got broken. an OE replacement is spendy, so I searched for a suitable substitute. This one appears to be the right size, but the dimensions are a little off. The original pipe is the wrong length, and this one is a bit long. It doesn't easily mount in a perfectly vertical position, so the machine can run dry fom the bad angle. But the main thing is that the connector between the hose and the machine is bigger than the Jura part. That's OK at the carafe, and it can be made to fit at the milk spout, but it's too big and too stiff to fit the milk system cleaning reservoir. Overall, worth the money, but the slight miss dimensionally makes it less enjoyable to use.

Works just like the factory unit. Hoses are silicone which is easier to keep clean than other plastic hoses, IMO. Seal on lid is good, no leaks moving from fridge to countertop. Haven't broken it yet, but at this price I wouldn't worry too much if I did!

Good quality. Needs a air hole because it builds suction in the container.
