I’ve been using the Kill Lash Superproof mascara from CLIO for a few months now, and it’s honestly the best mascara I’ve tried. For context, I have straight lashes and deep-set, hooded eyes, so most mascaras either won’t hold a curl or end up smudging under my eyes after a few hours. Even tubing mascaras, which I’ve had some success with, don’t really keep my lashes lifted and tend to come off too easily. This one is completely different. It actually holds the curl I put in at the start of the day and keeps it there. I’ve worn it for 12+ hours, and my lashes still looked lifted, which is something I’m just not used to. Normally my lashes drop within 30 minutes no matter what I do. It’s also truly waterproof. I didn’t have issues with smudging or transfer, even with long wear. At the same time, it’s not overly heavy or clumpy. The slim curved brush makes it easy to get good separation and reach smaller lashes without making a mess. Removal is better than I expected for something this long-wearing. I do need to use an oil cleanser and let it sit for a bit, but it breaks down without too much effort after that. I’m planning to try a dedicated mascara remover to make it even easier. I don’t wear makeup every day, but when I want my lashes to actually look long and lifted, this is the one I use. If you have straight lashes that refuse to hold a curl, this is absolutely worth trying.

I was a little skeptical at first because I had never heard of this mascara brand before, but after seeing it all over my feed, I finally gave in and it did NOT disappoint! My lashes looked full without any clumps, super wispy, and honestly felt like my natural lashes, just much longer and prettier. And the curl managed to stay all day without feeling too heavy. I can also confirm the waterproof claim is legit. I wore this to a waterpark and came out with zero smudging or raccoon eyes. It still washed off easily with some cleansing oil, which is perfect for me. Amazing mascara, definitely my new go-to :)

The best and only mascara I will ever use. As an Asian with shorter eyelashes, this mascara elevates my eyelashes more than any other mascara has. It has a very thin and curved brush (which I love). I use the Shisheido eyelash curler with this mascara and my lashes stay long and curled all day. I have bought about 5 in the last couple of years after trying out so many different mascaras. This one definitely takes the cake. It's great value, works well, and isn't clumpy.

This mascara looks really nice, gives a lot of length and a little bit of volume. But y'all, you better have an oil cleanser on hand or you will NOT be able to remove this mascara. Last night I had this on, I used Micellar water first, no dice, then I did my regular double cleanse, then I took a shower. IT WAS STILL ON AFTER MY SHOWER. It will literally take the grace of God to remove. Does it smudge, flake, or weigh my lashes down? Nope, none of that. But can I get it off once it’s on? Also nope. It’s a good mascara, but be prepared for a fight to the death to get it off of you at the end of the night. My eyes hurt I was rubbing them so much to get it off. Still ended up going to bed with it on.

This mascara is the absolute best. It literally lasts all day, and even pretty much all of it stays on through a nights sleep. It's almost still prefect when you wake up with it on, only a few spots to wipe off that it smudges from putting you face in the pillow. Besides that through is lasts the whole day. Not only that but it curls your lashes as well. It also is the perfect amount. The bond is just skinny enough to be able to get it on every lash well, and also the amount that comes out is not too goopy. You can keep adding layers and it still won't be too much. It's just the right amount. It's worth every penny.

The only thing to know is that it’s very hard to take off (which is why it works so well), so I highly recommend buying the matching mascara remover. Once you have that, removal is easy and you won’t damage your lashes. If you struggle with stubborn, straight lashes — this one is worth it.

Bought this after seeing Korean beauty raves about it. I've been wearing it daily for three weeks now, and it's been through everything - hot yoga, beach days, and my sister's outdoor wedding last weekend (85°F heat + happy tears). I learned this the hard way with micellar water (didn't work). Now I use Banila Clean It Zero, let it sit for 30 seconds, slides right off. Small price to pay for bombproof lashes. The formula is a bit wet at first - just wait about a minute before blinking hard. No weird chemical smell. I curl my lashes first because this holds curl amazingly. The silver text on the tube rubs off but who cares when the product inside is this good? This isn't dramatic volume mascara - it's better. It's "your lashes but impossibly perfect" mascara. When I want more drama, I just add another coat or layer with primer. But honestly, most days I don't even bother because this looks so good on its own. Perfect if you have oily eyelids (everything smudges on me by noon usually), wear contacts, live somewhere humid, or just want to apply your mascara once and forget about it. At $14, it's basically stealing. Already bought two backups because I'm never going back to mascaras that melt off by lunch. Will update in a couple months about formula longevity, but honestly at this price I don't even care if it dries out faster.
