Tailgate Boot Opening Release Switch 1240807/1241457/13422268/13359897 Compatible With Insignia Gegal Car Replacement

My neighbour couldn't get into the boot of their 2013 Insignia hatchback, so after crawling though the folded seat with a tool to release the lock I installed this switch for them. Aside from the trim around the actual boot lock, it's a straightforward job that takes around 10-15 minutes: The new switch clicks positively and looks as well made as the original, slotting into place easily. Several months later it still works well and there are no leaks or signs of reduced quality, and no modifications or alterations to wiring were needed. Highly recommended and cheap enough that even if it does fail after a year, it won't be a disaster - but it feels just as capable and robust as the original so it may easily last another ten years.

Just as good quality as the OEM one from vauxhall, just a lot cheaper! Super easy to install and fixed the issue with not being able to open to the bootlid on the car. Obviously, you need to climb into the boot from inside the car to open it first though!

This is slightly too big for the Vauxhall Corsa but the electronic connections are the same. I have had to use locktite to fit it in place as the Corsa one wasn’t showing up anywhere. The rubber button that you press doesn’t slot in to the recess. But it will be good enough and i can now open the boot 👍🏻

Bonjour, J'ai acheté cet interrupteur pour ma voiture car celui d'origine avait une micro fissure et l'humidité s'était infiltré. Après installation, fonctionne très bien, comme celui-d'origine ! J'ai juste eu besoin de couper les fils au niveau de la prise de cet interrupteur et les souder aux fils déjà existant sur ma voiture car la longueur du câble de l'interrupteur est trop court. Idéntico al original, lo he montado en mi opel insignia de 2011 y su montaje y ajuste en su soporte son correctos. Funciona muy bien.
