I had recently purchased a N.O.K. (next of kin) box online. It's the product with the ubiquitous ad for the best way to collect every important document your next of kin could ever need after you die. While I really like it in theory and have worked hard to follow all the instructions for what to put in each handy designated file, I wasn't so happy with the bulky fireproof black box it all came in. I also couldn't imagine lugging it out of the house in an emergency, so I started the search for a better place to store all this important info and found this bag. The style, size and travelability is exactly what I was looking for and everything I need fits in it perfectly and it's fire and water proof! It has a zippered inner flap that completely seals the contents of the bag, then a velcro flap that securely closed the outside. Really nice looking, very sturdy and serves the purpose perfectly!

Perfect size that can fit large items without having to fold them. The lock is very sturdy and secure, which gives extra peace of mind. Edit: I was so impressed that I bought a 2nd one in Grey! It's perfect! ----- Okay, so I decided to really test this fireproof document bag - not just toss it in a drawer and hope for the best. My 10-year-old son and I took it out back with a full-blown propane weed torch (yes, the kind that looks like it belongs in a Mad Max movie) and absolutely blasted it. Then, just to be extra, we dunked it in a bucket of water. What was inside? A comic page my son drew by hand and a little LEGO dude. I expected at least some damage, but everything came out almost perfect. Not burnt, very minor water damage—totally fine. I was seriously impressed. This thing has 9 layers of heat insulation and you can tell it's built like a tank. It's got a lock, a zipper, and even a reflective strip (which is a nice touch if you need to grab it quickly in an emergency). Honestly, I’d buy 5 of these and call it a day. Super practical, super tough, and surprisingly fun to test! Highly recommend—especially if you're like me and want to know your important stuff can survive a mini apocalypse.

I bought this pouch to secure some important documents. I'm not going to burn test it, but I will say, the outside is not meant to be burn proof. If you hold it under a flame, the outside will burn. It's the layers underneath that are designed to keep the contents safe. My pouch came with the wrong paper about how to set the lock. But I managed to figure it out on my own. The zippers are angled so that they can fit into the locking mechanism. To set the code you want, hold in the button and roll the dials to the numbers you want, then release the button. This is not my favorite type of lock. Thankfully, that feature isn't necessary for my purposes, but I could see others being disappointed in it. Overall, for the money, I think this will do the trick. But if you really want security, stick with a small fireproof safe.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Did I throw it into a raging inferno? No. Do I feel like a fireproof secret agent? Absolutely. Let me be very clear: I have no idea if this bag actually survives fire. I have not, as of yet, been visited by the flames of chaos. But I do sleep better at night knowing that if my house bursts into flames like a Michael Bay movie, my passport, emergency cash, and questionable documents might emerge like a phoenix from the ashes—tucked safely in this majestic, zipper-clad vault of hope. Does it hold money? Yes. Beautifully. It holds money, documents, maybe even a few regrets. It zips. It velcros. It smells like responsibility. I haven’t tested its fireproof powers, and frankly, if I ever do, that will be someone else’s problem because I’ll be crying in a lawn chair with a garden hose and a half-melted s’more. Until then, this bag gives me the illusion of control in a world made of chaos and kindling. And that, my friends, is worth five stars.

So far, I'm very happy with my purchase. ✓ Good size - The bag is large enough to fit A2 and slightly larger documents, certificates, and pictures. There is plenty of room for some photographs as well as my passport, pet documentations and vaccine records, and some other important files. ✓ I love that it locks - Items stay secure. The lock mechanism is unique and keeps nosy people from peeking at private items. ✓ Lightweight but solid - It isn't heavy at all, but you can tell it's solidly made. It feels strong and durable. ✓ Waterproof - I tried pouring water over but it kept everything dry. Even wetting the zippers doesn't damage documents. ✓ Easy to transport - It tucks under an arm or fits in a normal school backpack or work briefcase. It can easily be stored with emergency supplies, ready to go. ✓ No smell ✓ Reflective strip helps locate it in the dark. This is useful in an emergency situation.

Very durable and well made. Zippers are sturdy & waterproof. Snaps are well put in. Thick material is in fact waterproof! It's big enough for my small laptop and other important affects that are flat. haven't tested flame proof ness but it looks impressive. The lock code is easy to understand and use - you can set your own quite easily and there's good directions to open from the standard code & set a unique one. Reflective strip and handle seem like great features in case of quick finding in an emergency. Looking forward to using this as we travel in our van for security and protection of our important documents!
