Shark Steam & Scrub with Steam Blaster Technology, White, S8201

I'm a previous Shark Steamer owner. It was a flat steam mop not rotary. I had this one maybe 10 years. That one got water temps to about 180 degrees. It worked really well but left streaks. I had tried other steamers that promised to get water temps to 212 degrees which is boiling point for water. They all failed within months. Too small and too hot. So I continued to use my old Shark Steamer with ok results. I prefer the idea of steaming for cleaning vs the chemical solution for other store bought mops.I bought this one in December 2025, just before Christmas because the old steamer died. I am very pleased.The things I like include the following.1. Bigger water tank. I can steam clean more before taking the time to refill. The old one took 3 fills to do a small clean like the kitchen and bathrooms. Today I did a much more thorough cleaning, rolling up rugs, moving furniture etc. This was a longer clean time. I filled twice. Very happy.2. I didn't know if I would like the roller pads as never using before. It actually works well. It is so much easier to move the steamer over the floor and I think it cleans better. Also, I don't get the streaking I got with the old machine. I'm very pleased.3. It is light weight and easy to maneuver.4. Steam: So the pads are wet with the steam water and you have a button to push for more steam if you need it. Very nice. Needless to say, I get enough steam to clean the floor. Very happy.5. The prompts ask about scent? I don't know why. I do put a bit of vinegar in the distilled water. My preference.6. I use distilled water.7. The pads are easy to snap on and take off once you get the hang of it.Concerns include:1. The cord is stiff. The cord on my first steamer was very pliable. The cord gets wrapped around the 2 hooks on the handle. The question I have is will this decrease the life of the cord? I have no idea. Perhaps with use it will be more flexible. I could be just being "new". Time will tell.2. The cord is shorted than the Shark steamer I had before. I have added a short extension set for ease.3. The pads work well. They also get very dirty, to be expected. I found that I have to take a strong brush to the the pads before putting them in the washer. Otherwise they come out really cruddy. It's a small step. The old steamer mop head got ugly pretty fast. I have 2 sets going right now and doing well.Over all, I am very very pleased with this Shark Steamer and would recommend.

I’ve used several different mops and steam mops over the years, and this Shark Steam & Scrub is definitely one of the better ones. What I love most is that the rotating pads actually do the scrubbing for you, so I don’t feel like I’m pushing and scrubbing the floor myself.The Steam Blaster is especially helpful for dried-on spots or areas that need a little extra attention. I also really like having the different steam settings because I don’t necessarily need the strongest setting every time I clean.Another surprisingly useful feature is the headlights. I didn’t think I would care about them, but they make it much easier to see spots and dirt that I would normally miss.The pads are easy to remove and wash, and I love being able to clean my floors with just steam instead of adding another cleaning product.My only small complaint is that the round rotating pads don’t get perfectly into every corner, so I sometimes have to go back over the very edges separately. Other than that, it makes cleaning my hard floors faster and requires much less effort than traditional mopping.Overall, I’m very happy with it and would recommend it, especially if you have a lot of hard flooring in your home.

At a month postpartum I needed something quick and easy to help me deep clean my floors. With a new baby about to be moving around on the floor, two cattle dogs, 2 older kids, and a husband who works in the medical field I wanted something that could clean but not be harmful and this is just that. You add the water, select your clean mode, and let it heat up. The deep clean warmed and scrubbed my floors so good that it helped get that dog smell out of my house, if you know you know. The moveable head makes it easy to reach those tight spaces and corners. I couldn’t recommend this product more!

I’m not completely dissatisfied, but it could use something for improvement. Hard caked on stuff takes a while to clean and get off even with the steam blast. I did find out later on that it has attachments that are more of a scrub pad than the regular pads it came with. I’m going to see how it goes after I order those. Make sure the pad is washed or cleaned before attempting the edges of the wall. It will not get in corners which makes sense because it’s a circular pad but would be cool to have a square one that doesn’t rotate, since it wouldn’t for use in corners or maybe something else added on that would help in the corners. It’s easy to assemble and the perfect weight so you don’t have to carry around that heavy mop bucket everywhere. I also like how you use water rather than something with chemicals in it. You’ll want to wrap the cord to only where you need because it can easily get caught up if not careful. It’s super fast so you’ll want to be careful so it doesn’t get out of control but very easy to use. It has safety mechanisms that turn it off under certain circumstances which is a good thing. I got this for my birthday so I could get my boys’ room back in check after being neglected. It wasn’t the perfect cleaning which I was hoping for considering the price but it still did pretty well. I do prefer it over my mop. For the main area of floor this is great for every day cleaning just not all hard spots we will see how it does with the scrub pad attachments that you buy separately.

I've been very impressed with this steam mop. It removes tough stains effortlessly, glides smoothly across my floors, and the rotating pads do most of the work. it makes cleaning easier, leaves my floors spotless and sanitized. So happy to bought it.

I am absolutely obsessed with this steam mop! I probably drive my family crazy with my late-night steaming, but this thing is just so easy to use that I find myself pulling it out all the time.It makes cleaning my hard floors feel like much less of a chore. I love the scrubbing action, the different steam settings, and how easy it is to maneuver around the house. The LED headlights are also surprisingly helpful for seeing what you might otherwise miss.When a cleaning product actually makes you want to clean, you know you found a good one. This has definitely become one of my favorite cleaning purchases!

I have been searching and searching for a great mop that I don’t have to repeatedly rinse and wring, rinse and wring. BY GOLLY I FOUND IT!! This is an electric mop you only have to fill with WATER!! Yes, only water! It comes with 2 pads that can be cleaned in the washing machine. I bought a box of 10 extra pads, so I’ve always got plenty. I’ve rewashed them numerous times and they clean fabulously. I don’t put them in the dryer, however. It has several settings low medium and high. I have four small dogs and a white tile floor, so you can imagine how dirty it can get after a rain or snow. This mop is FABULOUS!! If I come across a tough spot, I just spray some Fantastic or 409 on the floor and use the mop with the steamer and ALL GONE!!It’s not like any other cleaner you’ll find. It’s super easy to use and so versatile, it gets all the way against the wall and corners. It has a swivel handle so the mop can go basically anywhere. The only attachments are the pads. They are very easy to put on. The mop is light weight considering the great job it does. I just use a glass measuring cup to put the water in it. Quick and easy. You won’t find yourself scrubbing hard on the floors anymore!!

I’m honestly impressed with the Shark Steam & Scrub! It made my floors look like they belonged in a showroom. The steam really helps lift away the dirt and grime, and the floors have a noticeably cleaner, refreshed look afterward. What I really like is how easy it is to maneuver and how lightweight it feels. It doesn’t feel like a workout just trying to clean the floor, and getting around furniture and into different areas is surprisingly easy.

120V model. I only found out after it stopped working.This should be clearly mentioned in the title: it is 120V and not suitable for UAE 220-240V power.Why is this even being sold on Amazon.ae without a clear warning!

Excelente solución para limpiar sin utilizar químicos más fuertes y nocivos como Lysol o cloro en los pisos de la casa. Si limpia bien los pisos con loseta, y para limpiar una casa de 2 plantas solo hay que rellenar entre 2 y media o tres veces su depósito de agua. Todo depende de cuánto se utilizará el vapor a presión.Muy recomendable.
