Good Headset. Not Sure if Required for PC..
This is an excellent purchase. I wear glasses - So these are perfect. The foam pads are nice and soft and gentle around the ear and glass arms that you no longer get pain and discomfort from long sessions. I use these for Pc via Bluetooth. And works great. pull out mic is perfect. and headset its self has a mute button. connection via Bluetooth is straightforward and simple. However if had occasional distortion in sound. The band is soft rubbery flexible plastic. With less tension so it is not pressing down onto the ears which is great for glass wearing users. The fabric ear pads are great comfort. And dont easily get hot immediately. They will get warm after 1 or 2 hours continuous use. But that is expected of all headsets. Sound is decent. Not overly loud. But enough for gaming and music. The fabric Ear Pads allow external sounds to pass through. This is not an ANC headset so it is to be expected. Which is great as you can hear people in background. But when on moderately high volume, all background sound dissappears. They are light enough. I dont see any difference between these and standard Bluetooth headset. Same sound and connection. I have various Sony, JBL and they all sound the same. Mic is also the same. However. When playing on xbox console.. your mini adapter comes useful and these turn into a 2.4ghz headset. they work fine with xbox and seems to have stable connections. Battery life is great - less charging. lasts me nearly a month with 2hrs a day use. There is an app available for phone.. I havnt installed it. As I dont need to tweak the sound. Hopefully these last.

Excellent audio. Works perfectly on Xbox Series X
This was ordered for my daughter to use on her Xbox Series X. So far, she's really pleased with it. It's comfortable to wear and will fit most head sizes. My daughter is quite small, whereas I have a bigger head. We both find it comfortable on the ears, over the head and it has fairly breathable ear pads. The audio is excellent. There's a nice balance across the range of sound. There's no lag on the Xbox connection. The microphone is very sensitive. Possibly a little too sensitive for some gaming chats, but it's still early days, so it may be adjustable to suit different voices and environments. My daughter still has to explore this further. Build quality is excellent and it feels sturdy. Battery life is amazing, promising up to 60 hours. Overall, they're decent wireless gaming headphones. As an early review, we can definitely recommend these. I'll be sure to update my review in the future if there are any other relevant observations after prolonged use. It's worth noting that these are fairly easy to setup and use. They integrate well with the Xbox system. They're also fairly good value for the quality and functions.

Great quality headphones
Straight out the box they didn't sound that great but after a bit of tweaking in sonar on the desktop app and wow these are pretty impressive. The headphones themselves are really comfortable although the cups are a little on the smaller side but after 3 hours of use they were still comfortable to wear. The cushion is very soft and they don't hug your head to tightly while still being tight enough that they dont move around. I only live in a small flat so cant say how good the range is but certainly didnt have any connection issues at 15-20m through walls. The software is brilliant. I dont really have anything to compare it to as I was using a cheaper pair before with no software and routing my audio through obs to apply filters/noise gates etc. Its so convenient being able to just drag sources to a specific channel and I found the equilizer and surround sound gave me ample options to tweak my audio. It also comes with plenty of presets for games, movies and music which offer a good starting point. The microphone surpassed expectations. It's not the best quality I've ever heard but certainly up there for headphone mics. More than clear enough for voice chat and probably even content creation to begin with. I mostly have been testing using my pc but have set the app up on mobile and it looks pretty useful if you're going to be using console or mobile.

5x wireless headset review
Really happy with this headset. - I like how it works on Xbox Series consoles and PlayStation 5 as I play on both of them. - It’s over ear so your ears fit nicely inside making it comfier. - Light build but isn't flimsy. - Very good battery life. - Audio quality is very good and can hear everything games have to offer (footsteps and bass for example). - The steelseries arctis companion app is great as you can set audio presets for whichever game you play and gives the best audio quality for that specific game. Overall I’d say this headset is good for the price and I’ve had no issues so far (had for a few months).

Annoying to use on PC, Mic doesn't work properly, have to install the app
Its comfortable but I genuinely hate this headset already. I got it as it's meant to be multipurpose, I didn't want to keep 3 headsets for meetings/pc/ps5/switch etc. it comes with a dongle you have to switch around depending on what you're using it for - fine. But you also need the app as well for some reason. Sound when using Switch was barely audible but connecting to the pc is where I really lost my temper - connecting via Bluetooth on windows works but there's no sound except the echo of your own breath from the microphone. You have to install the app to change any settings properly and connect via usb dongle (with usbs at a premium on my laptop, this also annoyed me) to get audio, and then the headset appears in the soundbar settings 5 times, which is incredibly annoying when you couple it with the ugly UI of windows (microphone? Chat? Headset? Gaming? Headphones? Which is it???). All five have been tested and all five produce sound ONLY with the dongle plugged in to the pc. The worst thing is the microphone - it picks up every single sound around you, and you can hear it in your own ears as well. I can hear myself SWALLOWING MY OWN SALIVA! I can hear the cars outside my window driving past echoing in my ears...all While videos and games are on at the same time, I dread to think what everyone else can hear. Which means yes it's impossible to connect and use for virtual calls. I have been going back and forth with support to get sound issues fixed but keep getting told "please check the headset is on :-) that's maybe why it won't connect" like bruh it connects, I just don't want to hear myself breathe while I'm usingnit

Love this headset
This review specifically refers to the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5X Wireless Headphones for the xBox. This headset is close to 5 Stars for the following reasons: 1 Very light and comfortable to wear but still with a quality feel. 2 The headset can be used with an XBox console or with a PC but they will also connect via Bluetooth to my Android mobile phone, my PC and to my smart TV. 3 The microphone retracts out of view when not in use which is much better than a removable mic which could be misplaced or accidentally damaged. 4 This headset microphone has genuine sidetone which my previous Microsoft XBox wireless headset did not have. 5 The chat/game balance wheel and the volume wheel are knurled for easier control and have physical end stops at minimum and maximum volumes i.e. definitive travel in that they stop at minimum and at maximum volume unlike my previous Razer headphones which had an infuriating infinite scroll so I never knew when full volume had been reached or when the chat/Game balance was halfway. Additionally the Steelseries Chat/Game balance wheel has an easily felt click at the halfway point which is so helpful and which was again lacking in the Razer headset. 6 The controls on the earcups have a good protrusion so are easily identified by touch especially the mic mute button which also illuminates the red light on the mic when enabled. 7 The earcup padding is very soft and the headband does not give a headache inducing squeeze so they are comfortable no matter how long the gaming session. 8 Yes there is a USB dongle required to use the headphones wirelessly but but this is a one time set up and connectivity is permanent after that May be the four stars is due to number 8 above but I am sure that after using this headset for a while I'll be back adding the fifth star so I highly recommend this headset.

Descent set
The sound quality is what you would expect from steelseries. It's clear and crisp but not great on bass so if your wanting bass then maybe look elsewhere. I did use the app alot at first and they're isn't that many that really sound any different but that could just be a me problem. The app is pretty cool though there's something on there you will use, I just use a all rounder one at the min only bass I've had these that long now I can't be bothered with the app unless I need to. Sorry this is a really really late review I've only done it because I keep getting a reminder to do so.

Avoid if using with PC
The quality of these headphones is top notch, and they are comfortable too! The reason for me giving only a 3-star rating is because of technical issues I have been having using it with my computer. The headset reads as an Xbox controller, but even weirder, the associated app creates numerous different audio channels, all of which my PC defaults between. But these channels don't have their individual audio, so I am getting no sound whatsoever and I have to troubleshoot it at least once a day.

Not worth the hassle
Probably and alright headset. Complete nightmare for connections. Failed to connect to desktop app, and unable to do any updates through phone app when the Steel series GG app failed to connect. Clearly a big issue as there are extensive "tutorials" how to fix, none work.
