No it’s not like the beefy powerful lathes but it did well for its price and what I want it for. Review: Good value - Works as it should. Had a few bolts come loose the first couple times I used mine but no big deal to tighten them up and move on. If I had to criticize; I would say it’s a little under powered but not so much to really be a problem.
