Froggy Toggs boot studs!
These studs fit the Frogg Togg water boot and work as advertised. Lightweight but durable. The pack came with a out 10 extra studs if any are lost. The studs come to a point for excellent tracking in a slippery creek.

Good value, easy to install.
I bought two bags. Upgraded my studded wading boots with one set, and screwed the second set into a pair of old sneakers to make some light weight jetty fishing shoes. They work great and are easy to install and back out.

Work with Orvis wading boots
I wear Orvis Clearwater wading boots. You DO NOT have to pay $65 for Orvis studs. Orvis has a little bit more of an aggressive bite but ,these are the exact size, amount, and quality for literally 900% less!!! Perfect!!

Worked pretty well for a short trip
First time stud use on my Simms FreeSalts for a 3-day Sierra mountains fly fishing expedition. For 7 bucks I was pretty happy with these. None came out or even worked themselves loose. After 3 days they are still about 95% condition. Traction on mossy rocks was really good although I imagine a more aggressive carbide spike would be better. I did slip a few times. For an occasional fly fisherman, these are a good enough starting place but probably not a great choice if you are going to use them more than a couple weeks a year.

Guide Recommendation!!
Nowadays, felt sole boots bans are getting common here and there (argument for this is another topic perhaps at fishing forums). Consequently the demand of rubber sole boots is increasing. Rubber sole products have been improved each year by manufactures. Yet every now and then, there are times when rubber soles wouldn't quite "bite" as felt. Also we may keep using it without realizing soles are being worn out. These are the reasons and situations when studs are highly useful and needed. Studs will definitely add extra security and confidence. However, products from some fishing specific manufactures are expensive and oftentimes come off easily!! Not many fishers can afford buying every so often or would care to check soles every so often - I'm one of them. That's when I found this product. Mostly because of the affordable price, I decided to try. If these would also come off easily, at least they wouldn't cost as much. Well, these studs DO stay solid on rubber soles AND offer GREAT GRIPS at most river bottom conditions!!!!! As it comes in a 30-pack, one can apply 15 studs each but actually 10 to 12 studs per sole will suffice. I'm thinking to get one or more packs and revive my old boots in the garage - soles (felt or rubber) have already been worn out but tops (rest of the boots) still have some life left. So I highly recommend this product for avid fishers!!

Won't work
Will not work in the boots we have. The studs are heavy duty. Very expensive for what you get.

These things are 3 years old and im finally doing a review.
Definitely buy these if you want traction on ice while ice fishing or working. I used these at the grain elevator for 3 years and they are hardly damaged from walking on rocks along the railroad all the time.

Good but pricey
They work very well on the rocky bottom of the Arkansas River. But I think I’m going to go to the hardware store and see if I can match the screw it would be a lot cheaper. Good product but still a bit pricey.

Work very well for icy walks. Just check to make sure your tread is thick enough where you put them in. I put them near the toe area so that I don't step directly onto them, then I can still walk indoors for short bits without making too much noise or sliding around. These helped make my walks much faster this year in our icy conditions in Edmonton.

70 year old husband wears them on his boots. He walks the dog and keeps the yard clear of ice and snow. This year has been really icy outside and am glad I found these for him.. They are worth the price around our town they want more for these.

The bag in the description shows screws without points upon close up. The bag I received HAD points! The comparison photo is to a Simms hardbite stud. Haven't installed or used yet on my wading boots. As a replacement, maybe you do want it a little bit longer to keep tight? Haven't used yet. Need more reviews from people who have used on their wading boots.
