can I use this in a washing machine? as I need to dye a polyester bed throw.

This product is not meant for use in the washing machine, had wash only.

Can i dye a bridesmaids dress with this? Im worried about finding a pan big enough!

Don’t know how much fabric is in the bridesmaid dress. This dye is good for nylon and synthetic fabrics only. To give you an indication of the fabric I dyed. I dyed 5 white voile curtains sizes 54x72. Bought the big saucepan from Wilko for £20.00 and got them all dyed in one pot.

Do I need to buy salt or this dye works without it?

no need to buy salt, comes with colour intensifier but I was doing pale colours so didn't use it. Make sure water is simmering and keep fabric moving otherwise it could be streaky and/or colour could wash out.

Will this do a polyester cotton mix.

Should be fine, I found this on the dye - "Suitable for: 100% cotton, high% cotton mix, 100% linen, high% linen mix, poly-cotton mix, canvas, silk, rayon, viscose-natural fibre mix, hemp and more!"
