We had broke our other one, and found this to replace the broken parts! It works great and it’s almost like I got a whole new vacuumed cleaner! It is easy to break though so be careful! Everything is easy to clean and it is so nice to have replacement parts instead of having to buy a whole new vacuum!

This is the second time I have bought this brand replacement cannister for my Dyson V11/SV15. It fits perfect and creates really good suction. The original Dyson cannister lasted about 3 years before the slide cracked. The first replacement lasted almost as long as before the hinge broke. I'm hoping to get at least 2-3 years out of this one. Overall, it's a good replacement piece for the price.

I purchased this because the seal inside my canister had broken and reviews of replacement seals reported the replacement seal was difficult to put on. Several reviews suggested it was easier to buy a replacement canister. This canister slipped right on my vacuum and worked beautifully. I am not a mechanical person, so if I can put it one anyone should be able to replace it. The canister arrived promptly, had excellent directions, and even included a replacement filter. I am very happy with this purchase.

The unit I received is defective. The red lever-latch mechanism doesn't have any resistance. When installing the new dust cup the latch didn't click so the only thing holding the dust cup in place is the extremely tight red gasket. I have requested a replacement, however Amazon says the new dust cup will arrive on or before December 25 2029. Literally 4.5 years from now. Maybe that's an anomaly in the amazon replacement service but frankly a 4year+ wait seems a bit excessive. I'm posting a comparison video that compares the original dust cup (which lasted 3 years, and is being replaced because the gasket assembly broke - apparently this is a common occurrence on this brand of vac). Hence, the latch that doesn't work on the new product can definitely be seen as functioning on the old/original dust cup. Side note - the red gasket on the new unit is really tight. I mean .... REALLY REALLY tight. More than would be expected with the little "warning" that comes with the unit (see photo.) So even without a latch to hold the cup in place, it stays in place. But that is a problem on the horizon because the dust cup won't release when I will need to empty it. In trying to get the defective dust cup off my vac I had to use two hands, putting one hand inside the dust cup to carefully and forcefully maneuver it down into the position where dirt would be released. This means that when it is full, I will have to shove my hand into the filth to get the thing to release. Not sure how that will work in the future; AND it also explains why the gasket assemblies are prone to breaking - too tight! Seriously - WAY TOO TIGHT!

Could not tell the difference at all when receiving this replacement compared to the original parts. Air filter part connected perfectly as designed. Canister also connected and fit well even though the rubber seals were a bit stiff. Product description did mention this and they did loose up after use as it was stated. Great replacements if you are looking to replace worn or broken parts.

I bought because I accidentally broke my canister. This came in quickly and saved my Dyson. Happy it came with the filter as well. It was the perfect fit and easy to install as all dyson parts are.

Excellent quality and feels original. Fits perfectly and value for money. Must buy product if you have Dyson at home.
