Trust Me, I'm a Vet: (Talyton St George)

Brilliant story, believable characters, and a story to spell bind you into thinking your watching it unfold before your very eyes. Cathy Woodman is a brilliant author, I am enjoying this series of books, and looking forward to getting to grips with them, I have read a short excerpt of each one in order and I am hooked, I love these sort of books they take you on a journey in someone else's life, then let you watch as it unfolds. So relaxing, ideal bedtime read, or any time of the day, so much better than watching the TV, Give me a book any day.

Loved this book great read

Easy read and easy to follow characters - lovely book. I wanted something to read on holiday and now off to get the next in the series. Thoroughly enjoyed the book from beginning to end 👍🏼

Oh dear! After reading the reviews and noticing 6 of the books on offer. I bought all of them in one instance. I now regret doing that and I should have read this book first before buying the rest. The story is very glitchy, slow, jumps around quite a lot. Maz the main character is very irritating and I found myself wanting to shout at her at times. While poor Alex seemed so nice. The story seemed very disjointed and rushed towards the end. And why would someone’s so call best friend leave their friend in such a predicament. Certainly not a friend from what I can see. I might give the other books a try but not for a while as I like the concept.

I am coming to the end of reading this book and have to say I have enjoyed every page. This is the first time I have read any of Ms Woodman's books - I read a review of one which turned out to be the last in a series - decided to Kindle the whole series, hence, reading this which is the first. I know what will happen, when I've finished them all I will be desperate for Ms Woodman to write another - and so will you!

I enjoyed this book , it's a bit of will they won't they get together with other twists along the way.cannot wait to start book two.

This is the first book from Talyton St George I read and I couldn't put it down. Maz is a vet who has become a locum at her friend Emma's surgery, the busy streets of London that she has left behind are completely different to the quiet country roads of Talyton. While Maz is still finding her feet she has to deal with new clients, the rival veterinary surgery (and their handsome son) and the local gossips. Can Max cope? Read it to find out.

Pur non trattandosi di Letteratura è un libro gradevole e divertente, parla anche di animali domestici ed è una storia carina. Io l'ho letto perchè mi piace tenermi in esercizio con l'inglese. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi, pur non conoscendo l'inglese da madrelingua, vuole lo stesso leggere in questa lingua perchè il linguaggio utilizzato è fresco e moderno, pieno di modi dire, è il linguaggio di ogni giorno, senza però parolacce o volgarità.

Da ich selbst verschiedene Tiere halte hat mich der Titel sehr angesprochen. Ich suchte eine englische Lektüre, die leicht und flüssig zu lesen ist, mit etwas Witz und - klar, happy end. Tolles Buch, liest sich ohne Probleme da eine überschaubare Anzahl von Personen, keine blöden zeitlichen vor und Rückblenden, und geschrieben wie mitten aus dem Leben. Viele Sachen brachten mich zum schmunzeln, weil ich sie so oder ähnlich auch schon erlebt hatte. Habe das Buch verschlungen und auch die folgenden 4 Bände!! Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man einfach nur zum Spass und zur Entspannung was lesen will!!Freue mich schon auf Band 6 der hoffentlich schon in Arbeit ist??

I picked up this book because I have a thing for the English countryside. Plus dogs are cute. I found myself laughing and crying - not often, but sometimes. I liked the book, but didn't think much of it until I started missing "that girl I once met who was the vet in Devon...." and then I realized I was missing Maz, the character in this book. I'm desperately searching for the next books in the series now!

Livre sympa mais qui ne casse franchement pas 3 pattes à un canard. Ça fait un peu midinette comme histoire. Peut être un bon livre pour ado en apprentissage de l'anglais... mais pas si on veut un scénario un minimum fouillé.

I enjoyed reading this immensely as it was an easy read with charming characters and descriptions of the small English country village setting. This young lady goes through a heck of a lot while adjusting to life in a small village with all the quirky characters and customs. Funny, touching and a roller coaster ride as she goes through all sorts of events and tries to "make it" in the small town setting. Great ebook price as it was a Kindle deal!
