HOWEVER, if you're looking to RESTORE fogged or sun-damaged headlight lenses back to their original transparent condition, this (as well as the others I mentioned) WILL NOT accomplish that nor anywhere close; you'll likely need a product that requires the use of, and includes, sandpaper of varying grit plus a wipe on luster and UV protectant. This IS a good product to have around, just not for any serious "restoration" of plastics to their original shine. If the helmet is acrylic it should work very well. It is a very gentle cleaner.
