Over the years I have dropped them, scraped them up, and generally manhandle them. I can be a little clumsy, lol.I use the 'ol pry bar and/or big 'ol screwdriver method to push the piston back in after brake pad changes. It's probably not the right way to do things, but I was taught by my father when young and I have always done it that way.The corners and edges of the outer pad broke off when I was applying enough force to push the piston back in. It wasn't such a substantial amount that I won't still use the brake pad, but it was more that I have ever seen come off after doing it for 30 years. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality brakes, kit comes complete with all parts *by P***W on May 25, 2024* This brake pad kit includes everything necessary for a complete brake service on my 2005 F-150.
