I actually really like this. Its not tight, so it fits the different handle styles of the modern and antique skillets pretty well and its not fully sewn together so you can tighten your grip and get a really good hold on the handle without it slipping around like the silicone covers. The leather is thick enough too that you can hold on to handle for a while before the heat starts making it tough to hold. Well done.

It's beautiful, very well made, I will never use it inside an oven, as I am sure it was never meant to be, so the inside won't burn, I sped up the process of completely molding it to the handle with a hair dryer, so now it fits like a glove, and it certainly makes it a lot safer and more comfortable to touch the handle. So what's my one complaint? Because of how the end is stitched, the part that covers my long handle is really only 5" long. Not what I expected from the description, but not a deal breaker either.

I have used these on my heavy cast iron skillets for over a year now. You're probably not supposed to leave them on the handles at all times because of how the heat might damage them. However, I have always kept mine on. Depending on the handle, they can loosen up over time - probably my fault for over heating them, but they still function very well. And I mean, seriously doesn't a great cast iron pan deserve a genuine leather handle cover?

This is a durable and stylish cast iron pan handle! I love the leather finish that isn’t flimsy or cheap. Way nicer than the silicone counterparts. I’ve left this on my pan more than once and it’s standing the test of time! Fits on all my cast iron pans which is another plus! Does not transfer heat either!

Got these as a gift not my lady and she is happy. Quality is so so at best from what I can tell but it does work and she’s happy for them. Easy use and no complaints. Time will tell if they last.

This handle cover works great on my Lodge cast iron skillet. I was a little skeptical about the open seam, but it works great and allows for a more firm grip on the handle. And, the thick leather provides enough heat resistance for handling without burns. I'm very happy with this purchase.
