First, we do NOT recommend using any type of sand in a Skat Blast cabinet. Use only quality abrasives. You can use soda in this cabinet, but because soda is a one-time blast, you must add one of our two soda attachments. The part numbers are SM-50 and SM-60. We do not sell those in our Amazon store. You would have to find them on our website. Thank you, jrr ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Impressive *by N***E on May 23, 2021* This blast cabinet has more than lived up to expectations. I bought this as a gift for a friend who has put in a lot of hours helping me restore a muscle car. Within the first 3 days of setting it up he had rescued thousands of dollars worth of very difficult to find parts for a '56 Bel Aire he is currently restoring. He told me he was planning on throwing all of those away and paying lots of $$ to replace them. It is hard to believe, but this cabinet paid for itself in that short amount of time in his eyes.The walls of this cabinet are very thick metal. Nothing like the stuff you'd see at harbor freight. This particular model is enormous on the inside and has a large door on the end for loading parts. The vacuum it comes with keeps the cabinet clean enough that you can see what you are working on. The included floodlights have also been impressive. My friend wired the lights and the fan into the same switch box, which he likes better. I believe the instructions are to do something different.My order included a box of media which was a nice touch.The only areas where we had to improve a bit is that for us at 6' the cabinet is a bit short and we had to squat a bit to be at the right level for the glove holes. We built a floor spacer to solve that. Also the vacuum doesn't filter out all of the dust. As the glass media breaks down it makes a dust which gets through the filter.
