Does help hardness of water

This shower head filter is exactly what I needed. The water feels cleaner and softer, and my skin is noticeably less dry. It was easy to install and has worked perfectly since day one.

Came fast, was easy to install and is working well. We live in an area with very hard water. Have been fighting water stains on glass shower doors for years. Why I never thought of this before I do not know. This filter showed immediate results in the water flowing off the glass. We also have noticed softer skin and hair after using it for several months. And it seems to need less shampoo to get good coverage of long hair. We have also purchased another for the other bathroom and recommend it highly for anyone who lives in an area with hard water. Might be a great gift for a friend or relative with sensitive skin. It says the filters last 6 months so I will check back if the filter goes down faster, but so far, so good.

I installed this shower filter and am very pleased with the results! It was incredibly easy to set up—everything needed was included right in the box, even the plumbing tape. The immediate difference in the water was remarkable. It now feels softer and much cleaner, which has had a noticeable effect on my skin and hair. Before, I struggled with dry, irritated skin after showering, but now my skin feels smooth and moisturized. It’s such a relief to not have to worry about the harsh effects of my previous water quality.

I noticed a difference in the water , I just replaced one cartridge after 8 months of use , it doesn't look like the pictures but i think it works

its been 1yr since i ordered this item. my house rental has hard water and this did NOTHING AT ALL ! i would invest in an item outside amazon. we are in a rental so unfortunately we cannot get a water conditioner to serve the shower. but we are on our 3rd one of these, came with 6, and nothing has changed. my shower head is as white as ever.
