Easy assembly, a little hard to get it straight as the adjusters would creep until almost fully tight. The latch was stick and hard to operate but a little lube fixed that. Bought it for keeping dogs where I wanted them, keeps them from running to the door every time we get a delivery or the door bell rings, it is also tall enough that they don’t fell compelled to jump over it. Might have to get one of the threshold units, wife knocked it down once already but it might just be adjusting with something new in the doorway. Wide enough to get my big vacuum cleaner through the door. So far seems like a decent unit.

We loved this gate so much we ended up buying a second one about a year after our initial purchase! Very sturdy, secure, and the extender piece made sure it fit beautifully in our wide hallway. The locking mechanism does occasionally confuse the odd visitor to our place, but that’s honestly a good thing in my book. Means it’s not going to easily be breached by a little one, even if we purchased these to keep the dog out of the cat’s litter box 😂 good to know my friends’ babies won’t be able to get where they shouldn’t be either lol

At first I didn’t think this would fit my doorway but then I watched an installation video and figured out that I was setting it up the wrong way. It fits snugly and I like it!

It’s a nice gate and seems like sturdy quality. However, I ordered two of the smaller size, and paid extra for a gate that’s the larger size. When delivered, they were all the exact same size. Using the extension pieces, it fit two of doorframes. The third door frame, with an extension the gate is too wide, but without the extension the gate is too small. The bolt extender pieces also don’t fit in the extension pieces as well as they do in the actual gate pieces. So I had to cut the bolts shorter about 3/4” to make them fit better and managed to make it fit into the doorframe better. Overall a good gate but was a bit complicated in a couple of ways.
