Great purchase
The grill is awesome. It comes with a very nIce utensils set and BBQ cover. The design is sleek. The directions are simple and the assembling was a breeze. I love the adjustment of the coals rack for close and far away charcoal burn. The cast iron grills are great quality.

Excellent cooking space and heat control
Weâve been using this charcoal grill for about two months now and absolutely love it. The grill arrived partially assembled in a large box with clear instructions for completing the setup. My husband and I put it together in about an hour - the process was straightforward with all hardware included. The oversized cooking area is truly impressive. At 29 inches wide, we can easily fit multiple racks of ribs, a dozen burgers, or a whole chicken with plenty of room. Weâve hosted several backyard gatherings with 10-15 people and had no issues cooking enough food for everyone. The enameled cast iron grates provide excellent heat retention and create beautiful sear marks on meat. The built-in thermometer is accurate and helps monitor cooking temperature without lifting the lid constantly. The dual side dampers and adjustable smoke stack cap work together to control airflow effectively. We can maintain steady temperatures for low and slow smoking or open everything up for high-heat searing. The 6-level adjustable charcoal tray is one of our favorite features. Being able to crank the charcoal pan up or down makes it easy to fine-tune the heat without moving food around. Lowering the coals creates gentle indirect heat for smoking, while raising them close to the grates delivers intense direct heat for steaks. The front access door is incredibly convenient. We can add more charcoal or wood chunks mid-cook without disturbing the food on the grates. The cool-touch handle stays manageable even when the grill is hot. The slide-out ash and grease tray simplifies cleanup considerably. After each cookout we just slide it out, dump the ash, wipe it clean, and slide it back in. This takes maybe 5 minutes compared to the hassle of scooping ash from our old grill. The black rain cover fits snugly and protects the grill from weather between uses. After two months of regular weekend grilling, the grill is holding up beautifully with no rust or deterioration. The construction quality feels solid and built to last. Overall this is an exceptional charcoal grill that combines generous cooking capacity with excellent heat control and convenient features.

Excellent purchase - missing cover
Would have given it 5 stars, easy to asssemble and itâs a beautiful grill. However, ours was missing the insulated cover.

It's okay, but it's a bit too pricey for its design.
It works okay, but I find it a little too pricey, and very difficult to clean, as the only removable parts are the coal-collecting tray and the iron grills.

Perfect fit
Where we are having this grill installed, the measurements are exact and this grill fit inside of the opening perfectly. While we still have it resting in the opening, we were able to test it out to see how it would work. Not only is this thing durable but cleaning and cooking on it is just how its supposed to be. This does have some weight to it and I suggest using 2 people to install this but other than that, this thing is working just as it should. What I'm really impressed is that even with it sitting inside our brick/cement opening, I'm still able to control the cooking temperature easily. No overheating or not getting enough heat. Even with some of the random cold weather and rain storms, this grill has shown no signs of rusting. We have been able to grill almost anything we've wanted to and everything comes out delicious! Highly recommended and definitely durable!

Good value built-in charcoal grill, a few flaws
I've been happily using a Weber Performer 22" kettle for 5 years (which retails at about half this product). However, I'm upgrading my outdoor kitchen and want a more "built-in" look. I don't like gas grills and this was about $400 cheaper than its closest charcoal competitor on Amazon. I've used this grill once so far. CON 1. This does *NOT* come assembled. The instructions are only in Chinese, but the diagrams were all I needed. Only tools required are a brain and a screwdriver (ratchet recommended). Took me about 90 minutes and I'm maybe about a 6.5 on the "handy" scale. There were 2 extra pieces not shown in the parts list or assembly diagrams and 2 unused screws but as far as I can tell the thing is complete. 2. Compared to a Weber the metal is thin and (once assembled) flexes and twists when you try to move it. Since mine will be built-in I don't anticipate a problem, but this is definitely *NOT* a portable product for camping, etc. - a Weber would be better. 3. Design flaw - the vents that control air flow over the charcoal (and hence cooking temperature) are on the left/right SIDES of the grill, not the front (where they should be). Since this unit is intended to be built-in this presents an access problem. I think I can design around it and/or use the door on the front but IMO it's a dumb mistake. PRO 1. Once assembled it's a nice looking unit. 2. Useable cooking area is 28x16" (448 square inches), about 100" (30%) more than my 22" Weber. Being rectangular, I can cook 2 whole salmon at once (unlike my Weber). I cooked 4 6oz burgers on one half of this grill with room to spare. 3. I like the chimney vent on top. OTHER 1. I suggest a Kingsford charcoal chimney starter or similar since it's not easy to stack briquets otherwise. 2. The pictures show a rotisserie attachment but I haven't found one yet. Good grilling!
