I ordered this ZRFCXE Window Locks,4 Pack Sliding Window Locks with Key for Vertical & Horizontal Sliding Window to use on a large sliding glass window that needs to be left partially open. I recently installed a couple of amateur radio antennas and did not want to drill through stucco to bring the cables inside. Instead, I ran the cables through a pool noodle and use the pool noodle to seal the window. Obviously, the window needs to be left open to accommodate the width of the pool noodle. It was easy enough to relocate my alarm sensor, but I thought it would be foolish to rely on the alarm and not have a way to securely lock the window. I started at my local big box hardware store. First, I tried a simple thumbscrew equiped lock. It would not fasten down hard enough to prevent the window from opening. The, I tried a lock with a lever. Once again, it would not fasten down hard enough, and in the process of trying to get it tighter, the lock broke into 3 pieces. Honestly, I was not expecting much when I ordered these ZRFCXE locks. I was wrong. These locks work great. They screw down hard enough so that they can't be moved once tightened. The key provided does a great job at tightening the screws, and the small plastic insert really does keep the window frame rail from being damaged by the screws. I ended up using two locks -- one on the bottom rail and one on the top rail. I could not be happier with my purchase!

These work great! Fit perfectly and keeps the window from opening. Easy to install and looks great. We have the emergency exit window so I’m not worried about needing to get out. I’m more concerned with anyone trying to break into the trailer. I’m pretty confident that the window won’t be able to be opened from the outside. But if someone wanted to get in they cud just break the window, smh. They are metal and good quality. They are easy to remove with the tool but not without it. We were given multiple tools so we can place them several places so we will be able to find one if needed. We did leave one in the RV. I recommend these for anyone who wants to keep the window shut.

These sliding window locks were exactly what I needed. They fit snugly on the window track and were very easy to install — no tools required other than the small key. Once tightened, they stay firmly in place and make it impossible to slide the window open. The keyed design adds an extra level of security, which I really like. Perfect for both horizontal and vertical windows. They look nice, feel sturdy, and come at a great price for a 4-pack. I’d definitely recommend them for anyone who wants an easy and affordable way to add extra security to their home.

Cost effective, easy to install and does what it needs to do. Extra keys are provided for added convenience and safety. Only downside would be a lack of a quick release in case of an emergency. This could prove detrimental if this product was blocking your only egress.

Works as intended. The thickness of the locks is quite durable and resistant. I would say these locks, used as a security measure, will work wonders. The key is just any other tool that uses the hexagonal tool, so having the key is just an extra precaution. Easy to use as it's just a latch on and twist of a key, and it will stay on tight. Pretty good for its price.

This is probably one of my favorite baby proofing tools so far, I’ve tried countless of the stick on locks for sliding door and window and prefer these much more, they are easy to put on and remove and also take with you and use it again. I only wish I found these sooner than I did.

My son is essentially a monkey and gets into or out of everything. These work great to lock the windows and have security.

I bought this exact set previously to use to hold my blackout blind. The REASON I bought these is because they had rubber inserts to protect the window and provide grip, in my case the curtain. The last batch did not have those inserts. Instead, they used a cheap piece of plastic. Stupid move. They saved what, .25 cents? Good game.
