Good loud sound
This has a nice loud sound, got to scare squirrels off bird feeders, and it works great. Only would have been nice to have some directions with it, but it is easy to use. Glad that it's battery powered and you can use it continuously.

It's junk
I inserted a new 9V battery. The product gave one weak beep, no more than a second, and quit. I tried another battery, and it still wouldn't work. I am returning it. Don't waste your money and time on this.

Way better than an air horn!

This is not a horn!
The product is very nice and compact however the noise it produces is not a horn. It sounds like a fire alarm. It might be good for self-defense or any situation when the sound of an alarm is appropriate. It can not be used as marine horn signals.

VERY VERY VERY LOUD
I recommend wearing earplugs when you use this. And don’t use it near other people or animals.

The Small Horn that CAN..
Fits the hand perfectly and the trigger is positioned exactly where it needs to be.. I have a 70% hearing loss in both ears om certain tones from Vietnam.. Can I hear it when activated;;?? Oh YEAH..!! For my use in the house as my wife has some medical issues that necessitate some type of warning alert to those in other portions this is the ticket. Hard to believe such a high decibel sound comes off of a single 9 Volt battery. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone in need of a hand held horn short of an Air Raid Siren.. This is not a toy to startle someone with as it definitely gets your attention.. trust me..!!

Poor customer service from seller
The media could not be loaded. June 3, 2024 update to previous comment on May 29, 2024 with regards to the seller's reply.First, Less Is Always More ✱AUTHORIZED SELLER✱ profile policy on returns states that "All returns will have to be in brand new condition the exact way you received it."(a) Since I wasn't aware of the the seller's restricted return policy, I removed the product from it's packaging to test/ensure it worked; is there another means that I'm not aware of? It worked and I trashed the packaging.(b) Additionally, per the seller's return policy, "If an item comes back damaged in anyway that it cannot be resold as new there will be a 50% restocking fee as per Amazon policy."Second, I just spoke with the manufacture, Innovative Lighting this morning (June 3, 2024) and they have never heard of Less Is Always More ✱AUTHORIZED SELLER✱ and the seller is not listed as an authorized sellers. Innovative Lighting also stated that since Less Is Always More is not on their Authorized Seller list, I must return it to Less Is Always More ✱AUTHORIZED SELLER✱ for either a refund, replacement or repair. Innovative Lighting cannot accept the return or will they get involved.Third, the seller replied that "Also lets not forget this order is from 7 weeks ago." Wrong there again, I purchased the item on May 1, 2024 and received on May 4th. Here's a copy of the Order Placed: May 1, 2024, Amazon.com order number: 114-1168842-298xxxx, Order Total: $39.29Again, I stand by my comments that the problem is not the manufacture's product, it's poor customer service.May 29, 2024 initial comment.Purchased horn for my boat. Initially worked OK until I tested it three weeks later prior to taking the boat out on the water; it failed. I requested a refund, seller approved and requested I return the item in its original packaging/new condition. Also, asked if I contacted the manufacturer. My response was no and I’m returning a defective item within Amazon’s 30 return policy. Their response was it must be returned in its original packaging. Now I’m stuck with a $40 defective horn/safety device required on the water by the Coast Guard. Go figure 🤪. Beware of shady sellers.
